ugh. just made meatballs! my rock station 92.3 (Howard sterns home)is playing the worst Christmas songs of all time. i am having so much fun!!

I have to tell you guys something. i have to tell someone. all this talk about us libs hating Christmas has really made me hate it. for the first time in my life i didn't even put up a tree. we will have dinner today at my daughters house.

i heard on the news the other day that the island i live on (Staten island, NYC) looks like a runway from a helicopter because of all the lights.

this was prompted by the reports of "Christmas under siege". it just made me remember that Christmas isn't about all this "stuff".

Saw Depak (sp) Chapra(sp) last night on Larry King. he made me remember who and what Jesus stood for and what Gandhi stood for. time for me to buy his new book and start loving again.

going to be very hard to even like neo-cons though. ugh.

hope you all have a great time and that the tide will change soon and justice will be served for all the democrats, greens and liberals out there.

Everyone here at DU got me through a really tough period;my father who instilled a love for politics in me at ayoung age passed away this year. He loved hearing all the stuff I learned on DU
