Did he know something we didn't?

Isn't anyone suspicious?

2. I'm more than suspicious
See the lead article on Greg Palast's web site:
Monday, November 1, 2004
It's not even Election Day yet, and the Kerry-Edwards campaign is already down by a almost a million votes. That's because, in important states like Ohio, Florida and New Mexico, voter names have been systematically removed from the rolls and absentee ballots have been overlooked—overwhelmingly in minority areas, like Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, where Hispanic voters have a 500 percent greater chance of their vote being "spoiled." Investigative journalist Greg Palast reports on the trashing of the election.

5. Too bad they didn't have that kind of intelligence pre-iraq or pre 911
They oughta fire the CIA and FBI and just hire whomever did their election numbers

6. I am VERY suspicious
I haven't turned on my TV since Tuesday night but I saw the front page of the NYTimes online this morning I am must be living in a nightmare world.

Is anyone counting the rest of the votes? Does anyone even care?

This is why they were so freakin' smug and smirky all along.

7. I think one hell of a lot of people are thinking the same thing.
The reason you're not hearing much about it is:

There's not a GOD DAMN THING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT! (at least about this election...) Electronic Voting means no proof, no trail, no legal footing. If the challenges to the machines before voting day had no effect, then what hope do we have of screaming foul when it can't be proven? The only hope of justice would be if the Administration left a Nixon-like record on tape. And there's no doubt that Rove and his overlords have been taking great pains to leave no traces.

It leaves me feeling a bit hopeless, and yet hopeful that the Dems can at least learn by example and come up with dirty tricks of their own someday.

10. To make you feel more hopeless
I would suggest that the two parties are playing good cop-bad cop with us, so don't count on them to do anything except play the game.

8. Simple math
Number of Dibold machines times number of votes needed to win by 3 million.
