There May Be Congressional Hearrings in 2005, But They Wont Be Bipartisan

Beware of so called Bipartisan Congressional Hearings scheduled for 2005. We have seen these before, most notably those held by Rep. Dan "I Never Met A Watermelon I Didnt Want to Shoot" Burton for the benefit of his good buddie Louis Freeh of the FBI about the fiery deaths of women and children in Waco. The purpose of the hearings will be to derail any civil suits that may be filed about election fraud which has taken place in the 2004 election. The GOPers in Congress will call to testify Blackwell, manufacturers of electronic voting machines and anyone else who has been named in a civil suit, tying up the witnesses and getting them on record as saying what Karl Rove wants them to say before plaintiffs attorneys get a chance at them.

These will only happen if the civil suits go forward, of course, which I expect they will.
