Its comforting to see the faith we have in EXIT POLLS....
when they are convenient to one's cause. Congratulations Ukraine.

"All three exit polls tracking Sunday's presidential rematch in Ukraine projected opposition candidate Viktor Yushchenko as the winner by a large margin over Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych. The government -sponsored Ukrainian Institute of Social Research and Social Monitoring Center showed Yushchenko winning with 58.1 percent of the vote to 38.4 percent for Yanukovych. The margin of error was 2 percentage points." http://story.news.yahoo.com/fc?cid=34&tmpl=fc&in=World&cat=Ukraine

1. But the election more then likely isn't rigged this time. Big difference
in data. Ours on the hand was rigged from the get go. Garbage in Garbage out.

2. Funny how the Ukraine exit polls are given credit but our own polls
"caused so much trouble". I remember hearing couple newscasters say "We won't use the polls anymore because they have been proven wrong".

AMAZING how some people in the world still use them... you would think BUSHCO would warn countries not to be sooooooo stupid

5. You win the prize for the dumbest statement ever on DU
and being new (but certainly not alone in your right-ward leanings), that's really saying a lot. You guys need new writers, if you're planning to stick around here very long. Most of you don't seem to last long unless you content yourself with posting inanities, like the one fellow who's already posted 800+ times in the past week and still hasn't said anything.

8. exit polls said Dukakis would win!!!
Initial findings showed Democratic candidate Michael Dukakis with 50.3 percent of the vote. This was in the margin of error. This election had Kerry ahead by as much as 20 points in Pennsylvania yet he only won it by one percent? THAT'S WAY OUT OF THE MARGIN OF ERROR. Two to five points is acceptable, 19 points is not.
