4. It was a great weekend! Don't forget Andy got a new job, and
we no longer have to look at that f***ing picture of Dan Marino on all of Will Pitt's post's! Oh, AND Marino's record got trashed this weekend.

Overall, a VERY Happy Holidays!

6. Another good thing...
The Free Press just posted an article:

"President George Bush, Vice-President Richard Cheney and White House Political Advisor Karl Rove received notice that they will be deposed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 28 and 29. The trio’s Ohio attorney, Kurt Tunnell, so far claims his clients have not been properly served. Under Ohio law, the Republican-dominated Ohio Supreme Court is responsible for serving the three with subpoenas. "

If that's not good news...

14. You know, that Texas story has a lot in common with...
... the voter suppression stories I've read from all over the country. I'm in NC and I have spoken to poll workers who felt that "something was wrong".

Ohio is probably a good place to start but there are breadcrumbs to follow all over the country.

praying. Its easy to be worn down. THis isn't what we were raised to become. I am glad for this place. It keeps me informed and sane. :)

25. Oh yes, well said.
I agree with everything you say here. As Anne Morrow Lindbergh wrote, "I feel we are all islands -- in a common sea." Have to keep those lines of communications open and the fires burning. We're all in this together, and together is the only way we will win through without breaking our hearts.

I have a weakness for favorite quotations to help bolster confidence in working toward goals that seem hopeless at times, and you can see more of them, if you are interested, in this thread:

18. the only 'great' day is the day
John Kerry calls a press conference and unconcedes the election.

Evidence of fraud abounds. Even the Secretary of State now refuses to testify, what else does Kerry need?

Jan 6 is the day we learn if either Kerry has a backbone or he's simply part of the fraud.

23. malatesta1137 - I really, really understand your feelings and
if I have to choose between 'Kerry putting on a show on Jan 6th without sufficient evidence' and 'waiting for a period of months until all evidence has accumulated that will bring this admin and all filthy cronies down hard' -- I will choose the later.

I hope that Kerry does not tell other Senators to not contest on Jan 6th -- I think this is an important step in making sure that investigations continue and the public gets focused or stays focused on this issue.

:kick:
