Problem is Bush produced 8 million NEW supporters. 59,133,003 from 51,500,846 (that is total of Bush plus all others 3rd party candidates in 2000)
We got killed. Bush produced 4x the new supporters we did.
I am still looking at the numbers, but Bush's totals are humbling. (if you believe they are real).

7. How strange that kerry always went down...
and bush always went up when comparing the exit polls to the machine tallys....thats a bit of an unlikely coincidence.

5. no, the machines produced that many votes..
if it were real and true, that would mean Bush got more votes then Clinton or ANY OTHER PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY....What do you think the chances are of that? Think about it.

6. Gay marriage brought them to the polls
Edited on Thu Nov-04-04 12:27 PM by blurp
Mel Martinez while running for Florida senate seat said he was against "the gay agenda".

He was bashed in the press, yet many more people (especially hispanic men) went to the polls to vote for him.

There were also gay marriage issues on the ballot in 11 states. The fundies were practically running to the polls to vote.

8. But blurp, your boy Rove only expected 4 million. How did they double?
They never expected more than "extra 4". Are your guys entitled to doublevoting, or some of them may have been ours?
