Why don't we push "honesty" with the christian republicans?
If they are the christians and honest and all why don't we in loud voices put it to the test and say if you care about being honest and just why are you afraid of a recount or finding out about the fraud??

Shouldn't they want to know the truth? I would if I was them. I use to be them 20 years ago, I voted repub then went to church 4 times a week and swallowed the kool aid, but I can tell you that when Watergate came out I wanted to know the truth. (thank god I saw the light!!)

1. Wont work. "God's Law" trumps "Law of Man" plus "Puritan Ethic"...
...says material gains achieved here on earth by whatever means are a sign of God's favor.

2. Closet Jews?
Use Christ's message against them. Recite passages from THE NEW TESTAMENT. When they come back with 'Old Testament' wrath and smite, call them on it, damned closet Jews.

I agree, have tried to point out the hypocrisy....
Does not seem to matter. It is not all, but some feel whatever actions they take it is ordained.

4. Oh, you'll peel off some of them. May take a bit of doing...
...but eventually some of them will snap to it. We just can't give up.

5. Not if you are a true believer
Those hard core churches are preaching honesty. They might not be following it but just saying it will bring the guilt out and they will know they are doing wrong.

They know deep down that achieving it any way is NOT what God wants. I still have many deeply religious republican friends and they would know Gods favor is achieved in humility not financial gain.

9. You are right
That is their truth. And conveniently they don't believe in facts either. They believe all facts are opinion. How do you argue with that?
You don't.
This whole thing about the right having so much power is bull anyway.
It is smoke and mirrors, bait and switch. These people are a waste of our work they (the real crazy right) is beyond reach.
Chasing them is a trap. Don't fall for it.

10. eventually the facts will smack you in the face
I have known people who got involved in cults, and eventually everything breaks down. The beliefs you have don't work for you and you can only maintain denial for just so long.

6. The far right doesn't believe in Democracy
The problem is twofold:

The leaders of the Far Right do not believe in Democracy. Here is how they think: "How can we (the government) let the 'average' person decide on complex foreign and domestic issues? Are we really going to let the uneducated masses make momentous decisions?...No! Let's steal an election for their own good." That's really how they think. (It's Neville Chamberlain all over again -- not believing that ordinary people know how to make decisions for themselves.)

Step Two: Just tell Christians that you have been appointed by God. They'll follow you. The Christian right is sick and tired of sex and violence on TV, movies, ads, etc. They feel the moral fabric of the country is deteriorating. All the government needs to do is play to their fears. Don't tell them to turn off the TVs, don't tell them to not go to those stupid movies, tell them to elect a government that understands their needs (fears) and will answer their prayers.

8. wendy-fundies sick of sex, not of violence-sadomasochism is core of RW
pain, s and m, .. is basic to the RW mind.

they hate sex, but love violence.
They love the recent movie.. mel gibson's ..? was it Crucifixion?

Any fundy church that also hates violence, is the exception ... most fundy churches will support all military adventures. They will fail to oppose guns.. hunting.. fishing.. and "tribal war type" sports.. like football.

Some non-war sports.. surfing, sprinting, long jump, .. google Cooperative Games.

11. They have a different definition of what "the truth" is!
The truth must BENEFIT them at all times...if not, they just "adjust" the truth to fit their needs. Sad commentary, but I'm afraid it's the TRUTH!
