Warren County Update.
Thank you DUer' s Lizzieforkerry, mark-in-cincy, and one other but I swear i forgot her DU name. Slap me now ok... :silly:

Anyway we had access to the poll books and the registry. We found a few funny things...but the thing that has me worried the most is the mismatched signatures. I had a few of the pages copied and i swear the signatures do not match. Could they have padded the vote? Naw...they would not do something like that now would they...I am going back thursday to have a further look at the signatures. I think I may be on to something but we shall see.

28. Before going back, look at this analysis of Warren County
Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 10:09 PM by berniew1
It indicates that fraud appeared likely in Warren and it could be identified by looking at the voter logs

election night. Something to have to do with A terror threat. Tha was later disavowed by DHS.

5. Glad to hear from you ...
As always, those of us who are miles away, sit anxiously awaiting word from those who are literally in the thick of it.

Nobody would do such as thing as pad the vote - not in the U.S. of A. What do you think this is - Ukraine?

No, we have much higher moral values than that! We spend our political capital on riggable machines and wars....... Aw, hell, even typing this stuff makes me sick.

To think of what a few billion dollars could do on the other side of the world today.

HG

Warren County...there is something there. I just hope I can find it. Seems like looking for a needle in a hay stack. But if it is there I will find it. Heck, if you have a magnet you can even find the proverbial needle. Got a magnet?

14. Andy- A Question
I thought Blackwell wouldn't let anyone look at the pollbooks until 1/7. Or was it while canvassing period was extended and now that full and bogus recount is over that is lifted.

Ps -on a personal note, Mom is having her Kidney removed, possibly tommorrow,( remember. I was rolling her into the hospital when you called). It's gonna be a lot for her at 81. I'll call you when things get more settled for both of us.

Kick Ass in Ohio!

20. These signatures are not even close
One of them as signed by the voter is very nice well written and legible. The day she voted it looks like the nike swoosh. It is bix=zzare. But as a side note. ..I am going to have my expert look at them.

26. Appropriate to telephone the voter?
Did they vote that day? Which polling place? Did they vote absentee? Provisional at another precinct? Heck, are they alive?

Is there any correlation between signatures and ballot numbers issued? (i.e. are the highest-numbered ballots the ones with the mismatched signatures? That would be too easy, but if the best these boneheads could come up with was "Level 10 terror threat," who knows what they might overlook).

Is the hypothesis now that those caging lists were used to scope out which voters' names could be used to pad the * vote?

Great work out there!

30. Even if the same person signs differently, there are telltale clues
I can sign my name several different ways, but there are certain characteristics which remain constant. One of these is pressure, the other is relative height of lower case to upper case, open versus closed loops, et cetera. You really don't need to be a handwriting expert to judge whether the same person signed or not.

Also, if many of the non-matching signatures look like the work of the same person, that's a definite clue that something is amiss.

In Oregon, they had people checking the returned ballot envelope against the signature of the voter on file. None of these signature checkers were handwriting experts.

I think G B 'n C is on to something.

24. I heard a story....
Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 09:44 PM by ohio_liberal
on Christmas Day from my uncle, who was a poll worker in Jefferson County. I asked him a ton of questions about his experiences and if anything stuck in his mind as strange. He said he was very concerned at the number of absentee ballots as opposed to the number of voters at his precinct. I didn't quite get the gist of what he was saying but he was definitely implying that people were voting twice (maybe the second time under someone else's name). He also said that more than one person came in with a severely incapacitated voter and basically did the voting for the registered voter. He mentioned specifically a woman who was totally out of it mentally, couldn't sign her own name, didn't have a clue what was going on, and had to be "helped" by the person who was with her. I'm wondering if similar shananigans happened in Warren Cty.

32. At my precinct I notice a few obviously "challenged" people being vanned
in to vote. Since I was working with MoveOn I didn't want to start anything that I wasn't committed to being there for. In retrospect I wish I had asked some simple questions. I would say approximately 3-5 individuals in all.

37. Apparently the poll workers
Edited on Wed Dec-29-04 02:32 PM by ohio_liberal
felt that they didn't have the authority to challenge things like this, and I don't know the laws involved so maybe they didn't. But when this sort of thing happens you imagine that someone is dragging in a mentally challenged voter so that THEY can vote a second time. It's the same thing with the absentee ballots. I really got the impression that the poll workers thought in some cases people requested absentee ballots then showed up at the precincts, signed some other voter's name (maybe a family member or friend that wasn't going to vote?), and voted a second time. Hence, the strange signatures.

On edit:

Welcome to DU! :)

John Kerry wouldn't enter into this thing if they did not already have evidence to hang the lot of them.... He is a prosecutor and capable of judging if they have a CASE or not..... If they could not prove it,.... He would go on with his career in the Senate......I hope they all go down......

Edited on Wed Dec-29-04 02:44 PM by elizm
I just read this today in part of an open letter to Kerry linked to on one of the threads here...I wasn't aware of this one...

In October 2004, South Dakota TV reporters exposed a Republican conspiracy to fraudulently "witness" absentee ballot requests. After an investigation, SD Republicans fired six campaign workers - but three of them (Executive Director Larry Russell, Nathan Mertz and Todd Schlekeway) were immediately hired by Ohio Republicans to work in Cuyahoga County!

40. It was rosebud57 and I photographed
the list of provisional voters from about 20 precincts. One in particular had noticeably more provisionals than others. It was 15 Lebanon NWA. Any Warren County DUers feel like canvassing to see what they can dig up? Perhaps likeely democratic voters had their new registrations torn up by an operation like Sproul or their existing registrations purged or tampered with in some way.

PM me with your email and I will send the 2 images of the pages as an attachment.
