Anyone Heard From Edwards Or Kerry?

I have been trying to avoid MSM news almost entirely since 11/2, but it does not seem like either of these men has made any appearances or real comments in regards to the election.

Would you expect that they would have spoken to the press or somebody in regards to their loss on 11/2? No interviews or live public statements by either. Perhaps it's just the MSM avoiding the left completely, but I was wondering if anyone finds their complete public absence odd?

I do find it odd that Edwards has all but dissapeared, and Kerry has only been featured in old clips about his campaign.

2. i don't think it's all so much the media ignoring the left

it's the left AVOIDING the media.

the good side: much more has been accomplished than would have been if the media had been covering every aspect - feeding the 'spin machines'.

the bad side: the public is mostly unaware of everything that is going on.

I think Kerry and Edwards are AVOIDING the media (for good cause) more than the media is ignoring them.

i am in no way however, 'defending' the media. i refuse to watch it for a looooong time.

3. Edwards was on Larry King, with Elizabeth.

That was a couple of weeks ago. No discussion of voting fraud.
I haven't seen Kerry in front of a camera at all, and yes, I do find that disquieting.

Had she not been going through Chemo, I probably wouldn't, She apparently has lost her hair now. Right now that is what is important in his life. It was Kerry's campaign, his advisers, his lawyers fighting in the Courts now.

Edwards has made some appearances on MSM, but I didn't see them. Larry King wasn't it?

Otherwise just a "Support the Troops" message from Kerry just before Christmas. I did think that was a nice idea. I may still use that link. I'm sure soldiers can always use phone cards.

11. That's been the most frustrating thing..

Kerry/Edwards has been almost completely silent - invisible - on the issue of fraud and voter disenfranchisement in Ohio.

If you believe this "there is no team" theory, and that the right hand doesn't care what the left hand is doing - well, it's apparent that the BRAIN and MOUTH don't care much either.

Look, at the end of the day, all that really mattered was that Kerry didn't take the podium. You can blame the lack of cooperation with the recount, the MSM, judge's decisions, lack of turnout at rallies - or public outcry - each other - whatever you want. But the fact Kerry moved on at about 1PM, 11/03/04 is all that really mattered.

Let them pour through poll books. Let them peer at punch card ballots. Let them write the articles. Let them post here.

All that mattered is that Kerry didn't walk up to a podium.

There was only enough time to look at bogus data and make a decision. With the outcry, one should have known the data being looked at then was wrong and DIGGING had to be done. Media attention. The works.

Bloggers have been trying to get to hidden meaning of Kerry's gestures. I know the media is corporate owned and operated, but if Kerry wanted to make a statement, he could. It's not like he's bin Laden trying to convey the next US attack to the base.

16. Last time I saw a current pic of Kerry he was attending a funeral

and I remember thinking how genuine he looked. Its like he is living his life as hard as it is in a real way. I am one of those who wished he would speak out more too but I agree with the person on DU who said he is probably waiting for solid evidence so he can smash them. They are strong and powerful and we can't fight them with plastic weapons they have to be of steel.

Both relayed a message:
A. Stop with the expectations of concession speeches.{don't go there
for now} and don't read too mush into the MSM.

B. Keep flodding the Senators email boxes with continued requests
for someone to step forward on Jan.6th when the electoral votes
will be counted.

C. Continue gathering information amongst the computer science
people, staticians, and the Mit crowd starting a thread where
ideas notes and figures can be verified and rechecked
tally's can be shared from the hard numbers already outthere.

D. Don't forget Jesse Jackson in Washington on January 3rd. if you
can make it or have family & friends who can get out the word
don't forget dress for the weather.
