Small update for everyone who helped me compile resources for John Kerry

I just wanted to update everyone to the fact that it was read and it was appreciated. The reply I received from the person that is my contact is a couple of weeks old but for various reasons I could not post before. But at least this should assure you all that things ARE going on between the scenes and we should all be grateful to those working hard at it. Here is one of the emails:

Thank you

I have forwarded it to Teresa and just got off the phone with her
to make sure she received it. She has been aware of much of it all and has
had a team working on all this for quite some time and is very appreciative.
What is needed and not yet found is proof of tampering, not just stories or
observations. Unfortunately, the freedom of information act does not
provide for getting into the diebold voting machines. Therefore, anything
you come across that might suggest proof of tampering, conspiracy or intent
would be terrific.

Cheers

1. What about a reward for proof of e-vote tampering?
Paging George Soros.

Or we could pass the "tin-foil" hat...

5.  It would seem that this idea ought to be promoted. It should be posted
everywhere. If some cyber geeks knew about it we might get results.

4. There is A LOT happening behind the scenes
Whether it comes to anything in the end is in the wind. But anyone who thinks Kerry & Co. are sitting around with their thumbs up their asses are very, very, very wrong.

7. My sleep schedule is totally screwed this week
Never give me time off for Christmas or whatever. I always stay up to enjoy it, and wind up nocturnal.

I'll be deranged tomorrow, and then I'll sleep. :)

Why can't you work and stay up as late as you want? Don't tell me that Truthout is actually brick and morter. Tell me you aren't a cubicle hound!

12. Yeah, that is silly.
I mean when you have to go to do interviews, okay, but otherwise, it makes more sense to work on the schedule you have, not the one they would like you to have.

(sorry, couldn't resist. That idiot's statement is so.....versatile)

It's just so hard to hold on to any hope that we can shake America awake from this nightmare. Thanks again to both of you for passing along this tiny but very significant piece of news.

On edit: I always suspected that a lot of DUers were nightowls like me, screwing up our circadian rhythms and messing with our metabolisms. Nice to know I'm in such good company! :hi: :toast:

21. Well, it's nice to know I'm not the only night owl around here...
hehehe ;)

Left to my own devices (and I'm also on break right now), I always become nocturnal.

And yes... thanks for shining a little lamp of hope in the dark of the night. I needed it...

lately, I cannot get off DU before 5 am. There is too much going on that needs witnessing, wording and distributing.

Thank you for the lovely boost...I have felt from the start, that Kerry, his family and his team, are absolutely on purpose.

I send you all big hugs, and a million thanks for all that you are doing to bring a more compassionate world into being.
:grouphug:

Will, I am the same way...maybe it is a writer's thang?

16. or, waste all night time
goofing off at DU as I have tonight. The first hour or two could be said to have been catching up on news (this is by far the best place to get updated) but the rest of the time I've just been goofing off.

I'm playing hard core avoidance tonight. Too many dishes in the sink, too many dirty clothes and a filing system that is mocking me. Mock, mock, mock!

18. Oh, I wish I could say tonight is about fighting for democracy
but really, tonight has been mostly goofing off on DU. I started four threads in the lounge, I think. I responded to about 30. Sheesh. I've been a complete time wasting moron tonight.

Thank goodness I've still got one more night off. Yeah, I'll be productive tomorrow! Hehhehheh. Yeeeeaaaaahh.

...how about publicizing election-fraud reward on ketchup bottles?

Meaningless if no one knows it exists.

Publicity ideas?

Can't we get greed on our side for once?

23. Catch 22; Does the Law require proof the law doesn't allow you to have
access to getting???
Voting is a public process for a public purpose- supposedly important.
The process should be open and transparent. A law should not have been passed that allows partisan manufacturers of election equipment whose CEOs are clearly partisan to control the election process and name whoever they choose to be the winner; and deny the public the right to know the extent to which votes are fairly compiled and published. This is ridiculous.

25. So, why
when we have a Triad official on tape instructing employees to make sure that the hand and machine count match, isn't that considered proof of fraud?
