If not - we need to let them know - especially the Republicans - that they are playing the biggest game of Craps (forgive the pun) of their lives.

Do they fully appreciate that so far they are actually betting that Totalitarianism will win out?

Even if their hearts and minds are in the right place - they are too afraid to speak out or act - and are therefore betting against everything we say we stand for in this country.

If they are right - we are fucked.

But do they understand what it means for them if they are wrong?

I'm going to start a whole new line of communication with these people - the media too:

"Pick a side and be prepared to stay there"

1. Good call.
How much is enough? How far is too far? People on both sides of the aisle are starting to ask these questions. I think even the Bush camp is starting to question exactly how much they can get away with.

The answer is not much more, not without another major terrorist attack anyway. When that happens, people better already know which side they are on, because there won't be time for choosing after that.

Especially since I have two Republicans for senators. I wonder if they think they can REALLY get away with all this shit!

Sometimes I feel like sending them both a postcard saying I know that they might not know that I know what they're up to...

Oh, and I vote this thread title for the annual "Rumsfeld Clarity in Written Language" award...:D
