Page 7

The correct count for Bush is 1389. They list it as 3,399.
The correct count for Kerry is 3321. They list it as 1,401.

So... we see what should be a 2,010 vote decrease for Bush, and what should be a 1,920 vote increase for Kerry.

We may have uncovered something...

5. yeah i would love help... (more)
my mom will slaughter me if I don't start my homework soon (reading fahrenheit 451!)

I'm looking county by county in Ohio from this list: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/OH/P/00/county.000.html

then search the county on google and look at the election results. Most counties don't have precinct by precinct. This does. And there are irregularities. I also need help getting it out because I don't know how/where I would do that.

Thanks for any help.

14. To enlarge pdf files,
in the upper left hand of the file there is a "hand" with a + in the next box. Click on the + then click on the page. The text will get larger. When it's the size you want, click on the hand again and it will quit getting larger.

it's a 4 point diff. I would think the squeakers should be done first, or not? And if we knew which 7 counties were using e-voting, that would be where to start.

This is a new adventure for me. :)

Possible evidence of voter fraud in Ohio
by John in DC - 11/3/2004 02:56:47 AM

I just received a photo a Cincinnati poll manager took this evening, and it seems to be proof of some fishy actions with ballots in Ohio. Bottom line: Note the already-voted-with ballots in the back of the truck with the Bush-Cheney sticker in the back window. Does this prove fraud? Well, it certainly doesn't look good in a state that's already had lots of problems this election.

In a nutshell, Stefan Skirtz is a poll manager for the Kerry campaign in Cincinnati. His precinct is heavily made up of minorities and students (i.e., leans Kerry). One of the duties of the poll managers, Stefan told me in a phone call minutes ago, is to follow the poll workers to election headquarters as they drop off the ballots and ballot boxes. Stefan followed the poll workers who didn't go directly to the election headquarters. Instead, they went to a local public school where workers put the ballot machines into a semi trailer, and then the poll workers handed off the sealed bags containing the ballots to someone Stefan assumed was with the county board of elections.

The first problem he noticed was that there was no sign off of the transfer of the ballots. Nothing was written down and given to the poll worker as proof that the ballots were passed off to the county employee.

What's worse, Stefan noticed the pick-up truck of the supposed county board of election - the truck the ballots for 40 precincts were loaded into - had a big Bush-Cheney 2004 sticker in the back window. Stefan did say that he followed the truck to the election headquarters, though he didn't see what transpired after the truck pulled into the election hq parking lot.

13. i was looking at Cuyahoga County
I find it interesting that there were
665334 Total Ballots cast but only
652381 Presidential Ballots cast.

11,286 people stood in long lines in the rain to NOT Vote for the next President?
That seems a bit high to me!

Can not find detailed precinct report on-line-maybe someone can help.

19. sorry, but those Kerry and Bush figures are right

For each precinct, what you did was add the slots for #'s 8 and 9, which are, respectively, the D and R candidates for Senate, mistaking them for slot #'s 5 and 6, which are the Bush and Kerry totals, respectively. The problem is that they don't line up on the sheet with the totals for the township.

Sorry, but those total numbers are correct for Monroe City.

24. I believe the scandal, it's not hype! Florida update
I stood in a 2 1/2 hour line to early vote on Nov. 1, and they told us there was that kinda wait throughout the 2 wks. it was allowed, in the 5 hours of people I saw (the 200 ahead of me when I got there, and the 200 behind when I left that were about to wait 2 hours to vote), I saw 1 lady with a bush button, and a dozen plus with kerry shirts, not only that, the two men in front of me and behind me, an engineer and a retired teacher, were voting for kerry, as were their wives, and this is in a predominently republican rural area. Also, outside there was only a Kerry supporter passing out stuff in his 60's, no one else. Also, I volunteered to be a poll greeter in a very wealthy area of Titusville, we were equally greeted, if not slightly more so, than the Bush greeters who had a big honk for bush sign, there wasn't much honking.

I've always been friendly and amicable with folks and I've only had 1 or 2 tell me they were voting for Bush, dozens I spoke to in the past few months in all types of places and situations (like 2 viet nam vets in the ER with my brother) have said they were for Kerry and that Bush hurt their pocket books too much.

I can't say for sure there were fraudulent activities with the optical readers that scanned the paper, being easily programmed to add every 10th Kerry vote for Bush, or the eVoting machines being programmed to do similar. But, I can tell you that there has never been lines like there were for this election. The Bush group certainly tried to get out the vote, but it was reported by USA Today, a recognized conservative paper, that Kerry was leading in early voting by a good lead, AND those naughty folks over at Fox News in their OWN poll before the election showed Kerry with a 2 point lead in Florida, and somehow, despite this, Bush gets a solid 5 point lead before the provisional ballots have been counted.

I don't believe anything else will occur (I hope it does, but I'll be rational), but I think we can effect hundreds of people by saying anytime anyone brings up voting that they have to do something about the way we vote. When enough people feel this way they'll do something, and never vote early or absentee if possible, I don't think those votes get the respect they deserve.

26. THE MONROE CITY #'s ARE CORRECT!

I repeat my assertions in post No. 19.

I do this only because you shouldn't get sidetracked by misinterpretation of the data. By all means, check other town totals in Butler County as well as other counties. But the original post here is mistaken -- the board of elections correctly tallied the numbers in Monroe City.

30. Stark County numbers check out but
According to the website http://www.boe.co.stark.oh.us/

There were 183,014 votes tallied out of 186,856 ballots cast for presidential candidates.
This means that there were a total in Stark Co. of 3,842 ballots were not marked/counted for any of the presidential candidates.

These figures were arrived at by adding together the total number of Ballots Cast for each ward and then subtracting the actual number of votes counted for all presidential candidates.

For example:
Plain TWP totals:
B/C 10310
K/E 9335
others 86

total # of ballots cast: 20001
total # of votes for all pres. cand: 19731
total # not counted/marked for pres: 270
*******

Overall totals for Presidential ballots counted in Stark Co.)

TOTAL 463(Lib) 89,859(B/C) 92,295(K/E) 397(Peroutka)
REGULAR 421 80,779 83,726 374
ABSENTEE 42 9,080 8,569 23

I can't start one yet.

That's almost 8,000 votes so far and we should have a documented running tally. One person should contact that county office to get an explanation.

While getting the explanation we continue to review the numbers.

35. Another Twp found with wrong numbers.
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 01:22 AM by diatribe
I think you added the incorrect columns for Monroe City.

Review the pdf and see that there are 13 different numbers posted per line.

http://www.butlercountyelections.org/pdf/canvas.pdf

The number 5 spot is for B/C and number 6 spot is for K/E, which are typically to the far right side of the page except for when they are dropped down an extra line. Seems like a period on the wrong spot kicks the info down.

Bush Cheney:
496+461+604+560+279+272+727=3399
Reported for Bush: 3440 Net gain of 41 votes.

Kerry Edwards:
219+188+216+227+129+102+320=1401
Reported for Kerry: 1159 Net loss of 245 votes.

Ross Twp shows a +30 for Bush while Kerry adds up perfectly.
Wayne Twp shows a -123 for Kerry while Bush shows a -27. Net loss for Kerry of 96 votes.

Hanover Twp is ok.
Madison Twp is ok.
Milford Twp is ok.
Morgan Twp is ok.
St Clair Twp is ok.

Totals so far:
Bush 41+30-27= +44
Kerry -245+(-123)= (-368)

That's a 412 vote advantage for Bush over a 8 Twp sampling.

How many Twp's are in Ohio?

37. Cuyohoga County has 24,788 provisional ballots
Kerry won the county by 66.41% (if my math is correct). If that % held for the provisional ballots, that would give Kerry another 16,462 votes.

And what a coincidence that almost 25,000 provisional votes weren't added to Ohio's count and they all came from a heavily pro-Kerry county.

What the hell were they doing in Ohio? Forget it .. it's obvious!
