The Nashua Advocate: Team Bush Lied About Accuracy of Ukraine Exit Polls
Edited on Thu Dec-30-04 04:29 PM by nashuaadvocate
An excerpt:

"While Yushchenko won the election, it wasn't because of any internal consistency between the supposed will of the Ukrainian people and the nation's many exit polls. Indeed, the Bush Administration -- which broadly hailed the second election as legitimate -- showed absolutely no concern about the fact that the exit polls had been roughly as erroneous in the second election as in the first one."

1. Inconsistent exit polling, yes
But never to the extreme of contradicting the actual results of the election!

That needs to be understood once and for all.

The percentages can change due to poor methodology in the exit polling process but, THEY WILL NEVER DECLARE THE ACTUAL LOSER AS THE WINNER.

That is if they are not manipulated, evidently.

6. You've got it, Raul...
...the point here is, if the exit polls match the "actual" vote tallies -- simply in terms of who "wins" -- the Bush Administration is satisifed, even if there's evidence of fraud in the exit polls and/or "actual" polls.

In the Ukraine, that is.

Here, the Administration accepts a disparity between exit-poll "winner" and actual-vote "winner" -- so long as they win the latter.

The only consistency is that, in both cases, the Administration is unconcerned about evidence of fraud in the exit polls and/or "actual" polls.

Result is everything.

2. Interesting - Venezuela and the Ukraine had poorly done exit polls
But the EU and the US do not.

So we ignore the fraud found via exit polls in the US - and scream about the exit poll evidence in the Ukraine.

Makes a lot of sense.

I wonder if MSM will note the difference?

My guess is that the above Ukraine exit poll facts will be used to play down the US fraud.

4. No, they will not be used by the Corporate media
They couldn't care less about what the public might "think..."

That was in the "Old America."
