The electoral objection should be the first shot in a long 4 year war. |

It could set the tone for a scorched earth policy regarding Republicans.
The "can't we all just get along" faction of the party should be either ignored or jettisoned.
Let's hope a Senator objects.

I think we can and should work with more moderate Democrats and Republicsns, without giving up our principles. We can reach common ground with people of other opinions if we try to. Go back and read some of the editorials by conservative newspapers that endorsed Kerry, or some of the Republicans, like David Eisenhower, who did the same. There are Republicans who are just as frightened of the neocons are we are, and who can be natural allies against them. The enemy of my enemy is my friend is the old saying.
