I'm so sick of this.

Look, if you voted for * you are either moronic or demonic as far as I'm concerned. Prove me wrong, but until then . . .

20. People were talking about doing Dem Lance Armstrong bracelets. |
|
You know how Lance Armstrong's foundation has those yellow silicone bracelets that say Live Strong?
We were talking about having one for us anti-Bush folks. Maybe blue or black, dunno what message.
There were two threads floating around about it yesterday.

3. We weren't. But we have been made to look like fools. |
|
American will be the synonym for stupid throughout the world.
And you know what? We trusted that this election wouldn't be stolen by machines we knew were crooked. We ARE stupid.
Thanks, George.

telling people that voting for the other guy makes them dumb. Elitism is not the way to go.

but it hurts us more than it helps to refer to them as idiots.

They aren't dumb. They knew exactly what they were doing when they pulled the lever for *. And now they are going to have to suffer the consequences of their votes. Now that Republicans are solidly in control, every person who voted for them is responsible for what happens.
The blood is on their hands.

8. I think some of them are dumb, but |
|
I think the problem is really that it's easier to let someone else do their thinking. They turn to network news, Rush Limbaugh etc instead of trying to be objective and do their own research they just go with what they see as status quo.
It must be nice to live in a bubble like that, not really having to be aware of issues.

14. ENOUGH! They Are Not Dumb. |
|
These "59 Million Dumb Americans" are our relatives, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and acquaintences.
I know people who voted for President Bush. I know people who voted for Senator Kerry. Each person made their decision based on the issues that were important to them.
Just because somebody doesn't see exactly as I do, doesn't mean I consider them dumb.
I am so sick of reading posts here about how half of America is "dumb."
This arrogance on your part is what is dividing this country. Nobody wants to talk to someone who considers him/her dumb.
Please, stop being so arrogant. I beg you. You look terrible and whiny when you post things like that.

15. oh you're so right, they aren't dumb. THEY ARE FOOLS |
|
I have dear friends who voted for *, and believe me, I have lost a great deal of respect for them, even though I love them. When people vote for a man who has murdered over 100,000 people it is a chilling and terrible thing. So honey, maybe you're right--they aren't "dumb"--they are something much worse to contemplate--moral cowards and fools.

17. They're either dumb or pure evil! |
|
It's giving them the benefit of the doubt to call them dumb, in my opinion!
I personally lean more towards "evil," in that I think these voters knew exactly what they were doing. And this is why I don't think most Bush voters can be reached with things like logic, reason, argumentation, facts.
No, Bush voters don't need educating from the likes of us. They need psychiatric intervention.
