WTF is wrong with Bernie Sanders? (on Thom Hartmann now)
He keeps saying we need to guard against "becoming paranoid" about election fraud, he REALLY doesn't believe there is fraud. Is he just an idiot or is it just that the people in congress are just fucking blind?

HELLO BERNIE, these people are CRIMINALS, YOU KNOW they are criminals, you complain about how they collude with insurance companies and big business yet you disbelieve that there is ANY possibility of widespread vote manipulation???

1. I think some people just really don't want to believe our entire process
is a sham and probably has been for 5 years now.

2. It makes me want to STRANGLE him, he's worse than the Repukes...
...at least the Repukes are evil and we know it, then you have people like Bernie who in general have good politics but they're just so willing to roll over and not see what is plainly evident, poo-pooing it out of the box without even doing any research!

I weep for our country with cowards like this in positions of power.

4. He's in denial. No problem. In a few years at most this
dump is going to be a full-fledged police state, and he'll look around and wonder how it all happened.

3. I Just Heard That And Almost Broke My Own Tooth
I'm sick of these politicos backing away from this. Frightening to you politicians? Then get the F*ck out of office. I just lost all my respect for the man. You can't play with criminals Bernie!!!

Good God we don't have any representation anymore.

I agree with you.
We really don't have any representation anymore.
If we didn't have eachother, the internet & other forums like this we'd probably all be at home none the wiser to many of these issues... because god knows our "representatives" wouldn't tell us about it

7. These Politicians Are Killing Our Strength
It's almost as if they want to squelch what positive grass roots movement we have.

6. Regarding this "paranoia" bullshit....
it would be PARANOIA if the Republican party hadn't single-handedly done more to subvert the US Constitution than any other entity in our history. Lets see...

-Justice Scalia who proudly admits to bias in his unwillingness to recuse himself from conflicts of interest

-Election theft 2000

-Lied about Iraq

-Responsible for 9/11 (regardless of which camp you're in, they either were just totally inept or totally evil in their complicity)

-Responsible for massive debt

-Responsible for myriad civil liberties/rights abuses

-Responsible for advocating torture

Nah, they sound like honest folk to me! Bernie, why don't you explain why reps like YOU allow legislation to pass WITHOUT READING IT????

8. It was sad.. and it's crap like that
Edited on Fri Dec-31-04 01:18 PM by tridim
that makes me want to dump my support of the Democratic party for the first time in my life. IMO, if these politicians aren't wise enough to understand what happened in Ohio, they don't deserve to represent us. If they're being threatened, fine.. Stand up on the Senate or House floor and tell the country, "We were threatened". That's all it takes.

12. Sanders, if my memory serves me, not a Democrat but votes with
them for Speaker and the organization of the house. Nevertheless, "our" members of Congress are not doing much better, with the exception of the Black Caucus.

he's better able to do work from the outside. this makes me wonder exactly what/who it is he is working for. i'll just answer that -- himself.

10. Bernie Sanders is a good man with a good heart who works hard but he's not
the sharpest tack on board and he won't be a leader.
This may very well be one of those times where the people have to lead.
Could get ugly.

11. Would any of them go on air almost 6 days out and say "Yes, this...
...one, that one and me - we're going to put our nuts and olives on the block - why wait - come and get us now."

Boom another Bin Laden tape or worse.

Plus give those feckers almost a week to counter whatever Conyers and Senator TBA will put forth?

I don't see how anyone could think they'd say it now.

Maybe no Senator will stand up - but if they are planning to - I doubt very much we'd know now.

Happy New Year!

13. another perspective:
Undoubtledly the evidence is there to prove election fraud - but would anyone support mass rioting and anarchy to expose the real truth?

I think this is what we're really dealing with.

15. I mean that if the fraud became 'official', there most certainly
would be mass rioting.

As it stands now, it's just a 'few tinfoilers' that be hidden away by the Mess Media.
