2. Especially telling if you compare it with the photo of him, Laura & twins
as they were just getting back to the WH. Lots of LONG FACES in that photo. He knew he had blown it big time. Guess he got some really good news once he got inside, huh?

5. Poppy told him he made the call!
This photo was after Karen (AWOL) Hughes told him he had lost and after poppy told him "quit your whining brat, we fixed it, you can't do a damned thing right on your own!"

The press interview when he and pickles voted that morning clearly showed a man who knew he had lost. The evil duo couldn't even face the camera and were not included in the "royal family votes" photo op!
:argh: I have mentioned lately how much I hate the lying sack of shits! :nuke:

11. I saw them on TV that morning and posted here how dejected
they both looked. I am not sure if you will find one on the net, maybe a search of threads from that day will help you locate one. The media has cleaned up their coverage of election day, probably deleted all photos of the loser, dejected criminal! :argh:

28. merh has a point in post #11 about media scrubbing. Best to search DU.
Pictures were posted here a couple times, once on election day and once the day after, I believe. Showed them walking across lawn from the helicopter. Long faces, shoulders really down, looked completely beaten.

There were comments about the green shoes one of the twins is wearing in the WH pictures, teasing about them being a signal, a green light to go ahead if you will... Probably only half teasing. The shoes looked pretty outta place in the big picture.

She was seriously glazed.

Having your "belief" shattered by "reality" must have reaffirmed her belief that * _is_ god's chosen...

Last time I checked though, God doesn't live at Triad...

8. I watched that live that night ..it was eery ...the media was yapping on
about how unusual that they were being invited into the White House on election night, this had not been customary by other presidents who were running for re-election in the past. Think even of Al Gore...

The exit polls were still showing Kerry ahead when this was done and shortly afterwards, like within an hour it seemed, the polls switched.

When I watched this, I kept thinking this was a psych out photo op. They could not get sound or a comment out of the situation, just the video and Chimp smirking away....it was like he knew something.

17. I'm gonna say this again:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3987237.stm

Pressure and pranks

By the time election night came around, Mr Rove was in the White House, where, unusually for a political adviser, he has an office.

He set up computers in the Old Family Dining Room and started tabulating results. He had set up a massive network of contacts, not just in state capitals, but individual districts and precincts to monitor turnout and support.

Early exit polls quoted by media seemed to give Mr Kerry the edge, but colleagues said Mr Rove indicated right away that they did not tally with his information.

He used his own data to put Ohio and Florida in the Bush column - bringing cheers from the president and his family when he went into the Roosevelt Room and told them.

And when the TV networks gave either Ohio or Nevada to Mr Bush but not both - which would have led him to be declared as the winner - Mr Rove was one of the president's aides who got on the phone to news chiefs to try to pressure them to change their minds.

But he is far more than the bully or evil genius as he is often portrayed.

23. Hey, Patsy! Here's my take on the events of that night:
(posted several days earlier)

Karen Hughes: "Mr. President, you have lost the election."

Shrub: (smirky chuckle) "April Fool's?"

KH: "No, sir, the numbers are really bad. I'm sorry for having to tell you this. I really hoped we could pull it out."

Shrub: "huh? Be a good dear, and get me a beer."

(Karl enters room)

Shrub: "Karl? Karen says we lost!"

Karl: (patronizing smile) "Now George, why would you believe that?"

Shrub: "Well, can ya look into it?"

Karl: "Let me fire up the laptop, and let me (wink) CHECK the numbers."

**BREAK FOR UNPRECIDENTED VIDEO OF * FAMILY ON ELECTION NIGHT**

meanwhile:
Karl: (muttering to himself) "well, that ought to do it. Oh yeah, shit, almost forgot to call Mitofsky! Hey, Warren? Yeah - here are the numbers. See what you can do. Yeah, I'll go tell him now."

Karl returns to Shrub family gathering.

Karl: "Mr. President, I believe that Karen's numbers were wrong. I have reviewed my own numbers, and I can confidently say that you have won the election."

Karen Hughes: "I'm outta here."

Shrub and the shrubettes: "YEE-HAW!"

39. Green Shoes was Calling Barney Don't Forget

This is the first time that I understood the green shoes, absolutely believe it was a signal.

The shoes and calling Barney to come to be with them and Barney didn't come into the room. That little scene was so phony.

Jenna was absolutely in on the fix IMO.

Oh may 2005 be a better year for those that seek justice and the TRUTH for our country!

I wonder if she got a bonus for her hard work because she's done a lot of hard work and she's not used to doing all this hard work.

Lots of hard work, too, fixing the election. All those feeds from Rove's computer to the AP have to be synched up with the polls. Lots of hard work, yup. Lots of hard work.

49. I knew it was a signal to put in the new numbers during the vote
When he came on during the election and really said nothing, I knew then that it was a signal to tweak the numbers. There was no reason whatsoever to go on the air at that point, and the press didn't even question it. Why didn't they? Because they knew what was going on.
