I think he just referred to it as Mason City because there has been confusion over Warren County and Warren (the city), and there is a Mason County not too far from here.

I'm nowhere near there and can't help, but I know that little town from travels (there is a restaurant there that has the most delicious frog legs I've ever encountered...sorry don't recall the name)
