Did anyone get the feeling that Carville appeared gleeful after Kerry lost
? He was on CNN the other night, and try as hard as I did, I just couldn't see any disappointment or sadness in his face. He just kept saying the Democratic party has some soul searching to do and find out where they stand.

Or is it just me ?

1. I am not sure if gleeful is the word or not
but he sure was acting strange. I wrote it off to disappointment that he didn't exactly know how to channel.

5. I didn't notice it.
He made a lot of sense and I wish more people in my party took it to heart instead of dismissing it as a traitorous thought.

7. It's just you
I started becoming depressed after I saw the look on Carvilles face and his slouching in his chair. I knew right then even before Ohio was called that it was over.

9. Absolutely. Carville was really dejected. The man KNEW that
it was over. He KNEW and you could see it on his face.

10. I saw him on CrossFire early Wednesday morning.....
he didn't seem at all gleeful to me either. Seemed to me he was putting on a brave face and refused to bow down to the garbage that no-facts and bow-tie were spewing.

11. I saw him in the middle of the night, when it first became clear
He looked completely rocked. It was like the carpet had been pulled out from under him.

14. I'm not a fan of Carville, but he was not gleeful.
The man I saw on Tuesday's Crossfire believed Kerry had won, and was exuberant.

The man I saw later that evening was in shock.

Carville believed the exit polls, Zogby and other indicators which pointed to a sure Kerry win.

Carville was punk'd by Diebold.

counting ended in the midwest.

17. It's just you.
People react differently to stress. Just because they react differently than you doesn't mean they aren't stressed. Carville may be DLC, but he's still a democrat.

People are surprised by how fast I've recovered, but now I'm just waiting for Armageddon. Like somebody else posted here; "I feel liberated". We've mostly done all we can do. We did it for along time, with alot of passion. All the bad news that's coming is something my freeper acquaintances have earned. I'm going to personally make sure it sticks to them.

The guy worked his ass off to get rid the smirking chimp and like the rest of us he is stuck with him.

19. I don't think he seemed happy...
I actually was upset that he seemed so defeated.

He did talk about soul searching, but I think that is because he and so many others thought Kerry was the one to bring down Bush.

Just my read.

20. You're kidding, right? He looked like he was about to cry!!!!!
He was wearing a brave smile, but he was sitting at a table on national television with conservatives waiting to pounce on him. I thought he looked grief-stricken. Maybe it's the Cajun in him that's hard to read.

And he called it early because his contacts told him what was happening in Ohio. The others knew before he said anything, and they gave him the courtesy of letting him announce it, so that Dems didn't have to hear it from Novak.

I'm glad, too. I wouldn't have wanted to hear it from anyone else. He felt like I did.

22. He's not on our side. He's not one of us.
Check out his position on Chavez. He's on the side of companies opposing democracy. Don't be misled by his words.
