In a Nutshell
Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 10:00 PM by BeFree
Here is what we know:

The Exit polls, trusted for years to describe how an election would turn out before all the votes are counted, this year stink like days old fish. There is something terribly screwed up.

Most of the votes were counted by machines that could have been programmed to count the votes any which way. They could have been programmed so that any vote not cast on the presidential side would default to one candidate and not the other. They could have been programmed to bleed off a certain percentage of votes from one candidate and give those votes to the other. And this is just a short list of how those machines could have been programed. But we are not allowed to examine the programming.

Ballot box stuffing could have taken place with the paper ballots.

Obstruction has occurred by those holding offices in which the vote totals were determined. They are hiding something.

DU, in particular this forum, has been overrun by posters trying furiously to stop, delay, or cloud, our investigations.

Some posters have done everything they could to make some of the more involved look foolish or completely off base. Some continue even today to claim that we are all wrong and that the election was fair.

Well, we know, deep down, Kerry won the election, and their protests will not sway our opinion or deter our resolve to see justice prevail.

Kerry on.

3. It still amazes me that
the dem powers-that-be didn't consider this election might stink to high heaven after 2000? No safeguards on voting machines? No concern that it might be stolen? :wtf:

I remember one of Bill Maher's shows months prior to the election stating that something was not right when repugs owned those machines and had gotten the contract to use them.

I also remember that twit Tucker Carlson looking so woebegon about 2 days prior to 11/2 and up until, conceding that Kerry had won.

12. Inspiration?
I tell ya, elizm, the good people here on this forum have been a fantastic inspiration. Never giving up, always striving for the truth, overcoming obstacles and hanging tough for two long months now, these people are the real inspiration.

If only 10% of the Dem party was as inspiring as the few here, I wouldn't have to worry about my democracy like I do.

5. I am a member of the voting machine task force in Florida
We took all of our information (It took over a year of work to put together) and presented it to Senator Bob Grahams staff. Graham and Congressman Wexler introduced legislation in the house and Senate requiring a paper trail, and open source voting software.

Republicans killed both bills in committee. The machines in Florida and other places, along with all the other shenanigans in Ohio, killed this election. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind.

I just hope we can find a Senator on Jan. 6!

10. Good work, Dr. Phool!
Yeah, the pukes kept it from having a fair hearing.

It was great to see Bob take up this issue like he did, and now I know why. Good work. It's a shame something similar must now again be assembled, but that's the way it is, eh?

13. Dr.Phool -- You are no fool!
And what you and the task force did was one incredible piece of work. That you continue to work on this after what you've experienced gives me great courage and hope.

17. "Republicans killed both bills in committee".
You and others did all that work, and Graham and Wexler listened to you, and that was the result.

Huh! And some people say the two parties are the same! If "they're all the same", then why do the crook-Republicans fight the Democrats so hard?

And they expect us to wave flags. To wave flags to show off "America"--after they've taken America and made it into something I don't even recognize. How long, how long? How long before these pigs finally go too far and lose everything? It's bound to happen, it's got to happen. When they have finally gone too far, and finally are crushed, I'd like to be the first to spit on their grave.

(Pls excuse rant.) Thank you for the work you did. I'm glad there are people like you out there.

8. This election, the media swore....
That there was absolutely not going to be a repeat of 2000, and the exit polls would be very accurate.

Right after 2004 was stolen from the American People, there has not been a peep about how accurate the media's exit polls were. If the media thinks that their exit polls were not accurate, then why weren't they accurate and what were their results? Their silence speaks volumes, and you would have to be a fool to not know the reason for the silence.

Could the truth be that the United States of America has been taken over by a Rogue Regime ever since the 2000 selection, and the 2004 election just confirmed a fact that is too difficult for those in the media to accept? Cowardice self serving money whores!

9. Could the truth be...?
Yes, there was fraud. All indications point to fraud taking place. Like good detectives, assembling facts as they come before us, the members of this forum are establishing a sound case of evidence which could very well lead to exposing the, as you say: Cowardice self serving money whores!

Kerry on.
