So when does the DNC prosecute Nathan Sproul? Bush's Xmas Party...
Guest....how much more proof do we need... Look who he associates himself with...

----------------
We're dreaming of a White (House) Christmas . . . Several of Arizona's leading GOP muckety-mucks secured treasured invitations to Bush's swanky Christmas party Thursday. Actually, Bush holds at least three of these parties to glad-hand with delegations of big donors and politicos from all the states, or at least the red ones.

Spotted munching on the primo layout of beef, shrimp and pasta were Secretary of State Jan Brewer, Senate President Ken Bennett and soon-to-be-ex- House Speaker Jake Flake. Alberto Gutier and his son Mickey, who usually drives in Bush's motorcade when he comes to town, also made the guest list.

"It was an incredibly rewarding experience after 40 years in politics," said Gutier, who, alas, was not rewarded with a victory in his recent run for the House.

Also spotted, petition gatherer to the stars Nathan Sproul. Bush, it seems, doesn't have much of a problem with the allegations in several states that Sproul's employees misrepresented themselves as nonpartisan during a Republican National Committee voter registration drive and were accused of tossing out registrations from Democrats.

2. I have been asking this for days on this forum. Why don't we turn some of
our attention back to the voter suppression via Nathan Sprouls. Why are WE letting them get away with this?

3. The Arizona Paper says "allegations" about Sproul. So why doesn't just
one of the "thousands of Kerry lawyers" on the ground in Arizona find someone who will bring charges.

Notice how with anything Democratic it's always "allegations."

I'm sick of that word used for Republican Crime.

Bush's guy in NewHampshire was prosecuted for phone fraud during the Primary. Why is Sproul not touchable? Red State refuse to go after folks who perpetuate election fraud?

Does Conyers know about this?

Google the states and find a Democrat county attorney to go after him. Keep us up to date.

9. Something has to be done about voter suppression or else the same
thing will happen in 2008.

The allocation of machines, challenges, registration fiasco's - we need to start pushing for changes in the laws on the state level to solve these problems.

We can try on the Federal level but how much hope is there for real change with the current Banana Republican crew in charge.

We need referendums to be put on the ballots in 2006 and laws to push in the state houses.

We could air ads showing and stating the 2004 voter suppression during the 2006 campaign. It would be a good motivator for our base.

We know the RW will have some wedge issue out their to motivate their base and we better be ready with something for ours (along with solving these problems, of course).

We need to make people ashamed to support politicians who are pro-voter suppression.

The party is not going to ANY DAMN THING about it - when it won't even challenge other obvious discrepancies!

...should underline the message we send to senators.

Here's a taste of what's to come, Senator, IF you don't stand up with Conyers and fight. Where's the outrage?

11. This really is crazy. If this was a Dem at the Clinton White House
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 12:51 PM by McCamy Taylor
Rep Dan Burton would have already started a Congressional Investigation into his crimes and called for hearings into why Janet Reno hadnt already indicted him.

I am not saying that the Dems need to be as vindcitive as the Repubs, but it is possible to be too forgiving, and I think the Dems need to learn to be more like Democratic DA Ronnie Earle down in Austin Texas who is prosecuting Tom Delay's pals for illegal camapigning.

We need to distribute the old costa-gravas flick "Z" to Democratic prosecutors to remind them how things are supposed to be done.

17. I am convinced Conyers will be calling for a Special Prosectutor
to look into tons of these crimes.

He got Fitzgerald onto the Plame case.

for a Special Prosecutor just to shut him the hell up for a while.

23. this may be the smoking gun
I may be crazy, but...... Sproul may be the smoking gun. We know that he posed as a non partisan registrar, but he has been accused on throwing away Democrat registrations. What if it could be proved, that he did it and was invited to the Christmas party as a thank you. I'm not sure how you could get in touch with the people who had their registrations thrown away, but if you could........that would be definite fraud.
