3. If I were you I would contact AP photographers in certain cities
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 04:00 PM by rosebud57
in which you know lines in certain precincts were really bad. I believe AP photogs are freelance and can do whatever they want with their photos.

Columbus: Jay LaPrete, Tony Dejak, Michael Byer

Another idea would be to contact Electuon Protection to see if they have access to any photos.

32. Jay Laprete did shoot some lines in Columbus on Nov. 2
Unfortunately the photos that were picked up might be photos of suburban GOP voters as they are white. No telling what else he shot that day, that did not get picked up.

The photos picked are from Whetstone Rec. Center in Columbus. Any Columbus DUers know if this is an urban democartic polling place or suburban GOP leaning?

15. stills from the video of lines in Ohio
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 04:22 PM by suffragette
Can images from the video be converted to stills? The video seems to be distributed freely.
Or would the resolution not be good enough?

On edit: added lines in Ohio to clarify

21. Not necessarily stills, but I thought this was interesting....
Fromn the Anti-Bush discussion group:

A man filmed most all of the Greene County recount. He was behind me almost every time I turned around. I believe he caught something on tape that was a part of a crucial argument I was trying to make. It may very well show something further that I believe is critical. He interviewed me out in front of the BOE and gave me his card. R. J. Robinson, Executive Producer. This is his site:

http://www.thefranklingang.com/ We've tried calling him and emailing him without any response. If it wasn't for me having his card I'd start to wonder if he was a figment of my imagination.

WHO can get to this man and get a copy of that tape? I challenge all of you to try.

27. Will, most reporters working for newspapers or radio who are
AP subscribers have access to the AP photo bank. It is usually protected with the individual company subscriber's account login and password. But surely you should know some reporter out there with access who could get some for you???

31. archive.org
They have the video called "Ohio Voting Problems, 2004"
Some of the video is shown as a slideshow and some of these photos look useable.
They have the email contact info of the people involved so maybe you could ask them
if they could help you with the stills.
Here's the link: http://www.archive.org/movies/details-db.php?collection=election_2004&collectionid=ohio_vote_2004
