a nightmare scenario.....electors approved very early in the morn Jan 6
that's the way republicans passed the medicare/prescription bill

electors approved Jan 6 by executive order.....a great deal has been done this way since 1-20-2001

not constitutional??? so? what does bushco care?

unprecedented?? unconstitutional?? see Bush vs Gore decision 12-12-2000

The time is set in law at 1:00 p.m.

"TITLE 3--THE PRESIDENT

CHAPTER 1--PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS AND VACANCIES

Sec. 15. Counting electoral votes in Congress

Congress shall be in session on the sixth day of January succeeding
every meeting of the electors. The Senate and House of Representatives
shall meet in the Hall of the House of Representatives at the hour of 1
o'clock in the afternoon on that day, and the President of the Senate
shall be their presiding officer."

6. You were right the first time - the Constitution means nothing to these
people. When no ones calls them on their executive orders, what makes anyone think they'll follow protocol established in the Constitution?
