8. We could start with that Chamber of Commerce speech he's giving.

Calling the CoC to express concern/outrage/surprise -

Writing letters to the editor "Having made a travesty of the vote in OH and ducking subpoenas as he is, Mr. Blackwell should be taking classes in ethics and leadership, not lecturing on them." -

Calling the Republican Party and asking why he's ducking the law -

Handing out flyers near where he is scheduled to speak -

Asking the question on Craigslist -

13. From The Desk of Blackwell: Start with his own book on ethics!!!
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 10:24 PM by KerryOn
From the Desk of J. Kenneth Blackwell, Ohio Secretary of State: The UncommonSense Declaration of Character and Ethics.

Snip:
Throughout my years in public service, I’ve seen first-hand many of the positive and varied ingredients that combine to give our country its strength and viability.

One of those ingredients -character- stands out above the rest. Character is the cornerstone of American citizenship. A good citizenship is the foundation of community. It is also the foundation of both good business and government.

Yet today’s generation of leaders often lack two fundamental resources. We lack a shared vocabulary of character-building ethics, {no shit!} and we suffer from the absence of support for our role as on-the-job character builders.

No one is perfect, although we’ve all known a few people who dare to claim infallibility. For the rest of us, there is “UncommonSense.” “Uncommon,” because sadly, defined ethics are not common anymore and “Sense,” because it prevails upon the conscience.

Snip:
Noble visions, worthy missions and guiding values all require and are validated by character ethics. Thus, a strong character foundation is and always will be the key predictor of the true personal health, interpersonal vitality, and organizational success.

With this in mind, please consider making your own commitment to character building. By learning and living character ethics-the virtues advocated in UncommonSense – Ohio’s leaders can launch a revolution of character building in our great state. Join me.

{I think I’m going to throw up.}

9. Can individuals bring lawsuits against Blackwell?
I'm not from Ohio -- but if I were and had been affected by his being pro-bush and his efforts at blocking certain areas from voting -- I'd certainly be considering slapping him with a law suit.

Make the sucker's life as miserable as possible -- he oversaw an election as crooked as any third world dictatorship.

11. Yes! That is one of my resolutions.... if he actually runs for Governor
we need to do as much as we can to make people understand about the severity of the problems with the elections under his watch... but don't wait until he runs! We need to tell people now, too!
