22. They Should Have Done the Opposite of What they Did
For a few things,

Maintained a strong visible presence at all times

Continued to provide leadership & support to members

Fulfilled their promise that every vote would be counted.

Not dismissed the 10,000 lawyers so hastily; listened to the reasons why many of the lawyers wanted to stay and fight

get the idea? I'm too tired for any more now...

Put Legs on the voter fraud issue and they will have to follow. At very least it is bad politics to ignore this issue. leadreship is needed.

I don't believe he has a fence. There is a nice, fenced-in park that
runs down the center of Louisburg Square, though, right in front of
his house -- that might suite your needs.

Here's the neighborhood:

42. I hope it doesn't come to that...
I'm still holding a glimmer of hope that he is fighting behind the scenes, but it seems less and less likely. If I find out he just gave up then I'm walking away from him, and from politics, for good. I'm working toward a Master's Degree in Political Science but I'm finding myself more and more soured by politics by the day.

While their organizations have been strengthening through churches.

We must have our own organizations. Perhaps revolutionize religion.

Where is information on fighting back or getting ready for the tough battles ahead or 2006 or all of those and a lot more?

Did our entire party get sent to Cuba or flee to Canada or what?

24. Oh, now THAT's unrealistic.
They are doing what WE are doing. Thinking, talking, resting, licking their wounds, strategizing. We're doing it in public, they're doing it in private. Do you really expect them to start putting content out on their website TWO DAYS after the election ended? Give them a rest.

Now, the fact that nobody seems to be paying attention to BBV is annoying me. But I'm not entirely sure they'd tell us, anyway.

Sorry to sound so defeatist and I probably shouldn't even be allowed to post because I've never felt so low in my entire life, but what really would you have them do at this point? The Titanic isn't sinking, it's resting on the bottom of the ocean. No amount of bailing will help.

33. we must hold them accountable
We must write letters, emails, make phone calls etc NON STOP until someone stands up and does the right thing. We need to contact Kerry/Edwards, We need to contact the DNC, We need to contact party loyals like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Also, for what it is worth, Bill Clinton. We need to write letters to the editor, send emails to the mass media. We need to draft an open letter to our friends in other countries. We need to contact the United Nations and declare ourselves a "democracy in crisis" or something similar.

I really hope the situation is otherwise, but I do feel that we are all standing alone here.

I haven't heard a peep outside of Kerry's "adios". Is this the first time the Democratic party has made me feel this way? Hell no.

I would love to see a new agenda and a lot of new faces. I would love to have representatives who fight. Look at the DNC website right now! Not even a contact button, just a damn concession letter and no more.

It's time for a new party.

a name like that...

Americans For Freedom Party

37. that's the best analogy I've heard
I wonder how Bruce Springsteen feels after singing "No retreat, no surrender"?

Man they got out of here in a hurry. So was Kerry a patsy from the start or did he get a phone call saying that this time the antrax wouldn't come with a warning? What happened to fighting for us?

I can't get that song out of my head.

52. Me either-the song is going to haunt me for a long long time
It was a favorite of mine before this campaign.

I leave ALL explanations open. I think that's good for our sanity. The realism give me hope, the denial gives me hope, the anger gives me hope. It all gives me hope because it means we are thinking and not rolling over dead. I think we all want the truth about the election, about Kerry, about it all. I don't blame any any reactions. Nothing has mad me mad on DU except those blaming gays and saying we need to move into the Republicans corner.

38. I've been wondering about this
I heard inside information about the final hours inside the Kerry inner circle on talk radio. Can't remember which show but I think it was Hannity. They were talking about who raised their voice and lost their temper, etc. I didn't pay much attention at the time because I was too mad and figured I would read about it later on DU.

I am wondering how this information got out to them when no one posting on DU seems to know what happened that prompted a concession from Kerry. I am wondering if there were republican plants inside his inner circle. If so, who?

Also, since so many people posting on DU have been aware of the voting machine problem since day one - where was DLC and DNC on this issue? Where are they now on this issue?

Tjey burried their heads in the sans until it swallowed them whole.

I actually got invited to a Kerry fundraiser so I could talk to him
about it (Diebold). I raised the issue directly with him and with Teresa. Teresa
was really indignant and really concerned, but Kerry just looked down
at me -- he's about 9 feet tall -- and I could tell it just didn't
register. It set off all his conspiracy-theory alarms and he just
wasn't listening.

But we don't need to follow them. We need to keep it up. Already the 4000 votes in Ohio (in a 300 voters precinct) emerged on DU and it's on AP. Let's keep making waves.
