I say we still call the Senators and hear it from their office directly

1. We should continue to call, fax and write - politely, of course
until the 6th. We can't leave anything to chance.

3. They were silent in 01, will they be silent in 05?
Edited on Mon Jan-03-05 04:47 PM by sd_UDO
The senators are too well fed.

Here are the Senators who were silent in 2001:

Ted Kennedy
Hillary
Tom Harkin
Paul Wellstone
Pat Leahy

many others.

Solution?

Start UDOs---

here's some info---

http://www.angelfire.com/sd2/105/udo/

Gosh, I hope some Senators wake up
and start acting like Harry Truman!

If not, we can run our UDOs, and make history!

5. There is a big difference between 2000 and 2004.
Dems were stuck in 2000. The Supreme Court was involved. And the candidate was the VP and the tie=breaker.

2004 is very different.

11. Ultra Democrat Organization
from the link posted above @ angelfire:

The purposes of UDO are:

1. To be organized and operate exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes.

2. To establish UDO Assemblies in all the precincts and counties of South Dakota, as well as a Statewide UDO Assembly.

3. To have each Assembly discuss and pass one to three Resolutions each year (each Resolution indicating what humanitarian or scientific project the UDO Assembly intends to accomplish that year), and determine how the dues and donations of each Assembly shall be spent.

4. To successfully accomplish 1 to 3 humanitarian or scientific projects per Assembly per calendar year.

5. To let the world know about the UDO Assemblies and what projects have been accomplished, and which ideas have been discussed but not accepted yet as Resolutions.

6. To research and discuss the writings and ideas of Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Lao Tzu and Lysander Spooner, and to see which of these ideas might be applied practically by Precinct, County and State UDO Assemblies.

2. Senator Dayton's office had denied that he will contest.

4. Dayton says NO. Then all you in Minnesota, start an UDO!
http://www.angelfire.com/sd2/105/udo/

MN and SD can be the first two states that will have UDOs,

who will have elections 6 times a year!

When the Senators are asleep, its time for us to do something
great!

7. Actually, I called Dayton's office
and spoke to a lovely woman named Delta. Wonderful name, isn't it?

But I digress.

When asked if Dayton had any official comment about the election, election fraud or whether or not he would contest the vote on the 6th, she said that he had not made a statement either way.

So, I asked if he was taking messages from voters and she said yes. I then passed along my comments.

You can fax Dayton's office at 202-228-2186

6. Any Senator would be foolish to pop their head up this early.
Opening themselves up for a personal attack like a wack-a-mole.
They all need to stand up together on Thursday, and keep mum until then.

8. As I have posted on and on, whatever they intend to do
WE WILL NOT HEAR OF IT HERE FIRST.

Ignore all the yapping in here about how horrible our Senators are, at least until Jan. 6 afternoon.

It's madcap freepery in an overdrive campaign of disinfo. And it ain't working.

The Senators will act in such a way as to maximize Democratic strength.

And yes, them freeplets OUGHT to be afraid. As a result of the Bush era, the neocon days in power are done, by their own utter incompetence. They'll learn that as they're perp-walked out of office.

All that can keep them in power is a stolen election... oh, wait.
