Need Help. Writing to Radio Host in WA about OH problems
Dori Monson is on 710 am Kiro.
I checked their website and I don't think they have streaming.
Anyway, he is and has been for weeks talking about the race for governor. A lot of people in WA want a revote because the race was so close and is riddled with irregularities. For those who haven't been paying attention, in the original count Rossi (R) won by 200 some votes with 2.8 million total votes. A mandatory machine recount brought the margin down to 42 votes. Gregoire (D) asked for a hand recount that resulted in her winning by 10 if you don't count a couple hundred votes found in King County (which has about 30% of the state's votes) and by a hundred some if you do count the found votes (the court ruled they do count). Now apparently the GOP has found that about 8,500 votes statewide haven't yet been matched up to registered voters. Obviously if that is the case then the results of the election are in question because that is much larger than the margin of victory.

Dori is in favor of a revote and he is quite concerned with all the evidence that has come out. I'm going to write him (and maybe call as well) to tell him how similar (and worse) things happened in OH. Hopefully he will be interested. I need help with specifics.

Does anyone know if OH has more votes than voters?
Where can I find nice summaries of the recount problems?

I appreciate any info you know of so I can get get Dori Monson's attention. He is listened to by loads of people and his radio show is on for 4 hours 5 days a week so if he starts talking about OH it would be great. And since WA is seeing the myriad problems in elections he has reason to listen to further problems.

Thanks.

1. Here is a list of 10
"irregularities" for you to use. Scroll down and you'll find them.

4. Probably. But I think all the election problems in WA have
made him much more open to the idea that this elections have serious problems. I figure it is worth a try.

5. Note that every other big county in WA has a proportionate amount
of variance statewide... it's normal

6. But if unexplained it is unacceptable.
Votes that don't come from registered voters are NOT OK no matter which state, race, or political party is involved.

7. I couldn't get very far with him when I called into his show.
Managed to talk about problems with touchscreen voting in Snohomish county, but as soon as I said "Ohio" he started talking over me. I emailed some stuff to him, too.

Hopefully you'll be more successful than I was.

8. When did you talk to him? I had to turn off the radio to focus enough
to write my letter. Still in progress.

9. Dec 14, I think it was right after the 500+ uncounted absentee ballots...
turned up. Most of his callers (and Dori himself) were complaining about how the Dems were "stealing" the election by finding ballots. After the call, I emailed him a copy of the Moss v. Bush filing and told him you didn't need to "find" ballots to steal an election.

I used to listen to his show more before Air America came along; I think he's a pretty moderate Republican. There's a good chance he'll listen to your point of view and take it into consideration if you write to him.

10. There were some counties mentioned at the Columbus Rally Monday 3rd
that had over 100% voter turnout. Summaries? I'd send them this!

*Grin* I'm sending it out to all my local people tonight.... (not at home yet...)
