OK, so what STINKS the most?
There's been some back and fort about whether this or that piece of evidence is a smoking gun, but you don't need a smoking gun to justify a full scale investigation or a contest of electors by members of Congress . The question is: are there facts that don't pass the smell test?

Here are my top 3 stinkers:

1. The death of HR 2239. The Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act of 2003.
A Bill to amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to require a voter-verified permanent record or hard copy.
http://thomas.loc.gov (type in HR 2239 at the top of the page).

Introduced in May of 2003 by Rush Holt this patch for the fatally flawed HAVA would have provided that elusive paper trail. It had wide support from both Democrats and Republicans in the House. It kills me to read the impassioned pleas Rush Holt and many others make (including a former SOS from Ohio) to members of the House.

This bill was referred to committee and the Republican leadership (Hastert and Delay) never allowed it to be brought to the floor.

This is a FACT and it STINKS!

OK let me get this off my chest...WHY THE F*CK DID THEY KILL THE PAPER TRAIL IF THEY WEREN'T GOING TO CHEAT!?

2.Those amazing Exit Polls! Call me crazy but I think all the statistical analysis by Dr. Freeman, and many other respected academics and statisticians (including DU's own TIA), plus the informed comments from Zogby and many others actually do amount to something.

AND The fact that the corporate MSM refuses to release the raw exit poll data 2 months after the election REALLY, REALLY SMELLS OF SH*T!

3. The political/religious affiliations of Diebold, ES&S, Sequoia, Triad. Aw jeez I don't have to provide links for these stinking fascists do I?

I know there are many other critical pieces: The voter suppression, voter intimidation the Berkley study etc. etc. etc. the point is we are talking about the stench of an open landfill next to an animal rendering plant.

So what smells worst to you?

1. #3
I'm not sure how it's possible to trust voting machines made by companies that whole-heartedly admit they want a particular candidate to win.

2. Related to #3 - The incredibly lax standards that regulate voting machines
The lax standards, the non-enforcement of these lax standards and the incredible lack of understanding of the dangers by Democratic voting officials was an open invitation to fraud.

I mean, you leave the doors to Ft. Knox wide open, and then you're SHOCKED when the gold is gone.

5. We should use the Bank check machines instead to count paper ballots.
Banks already have the technology we need.
they can process and verify thousands of different documents at a rate of 30 per second with machines that read the info on the document and sort them into different bins and at the same time make a verifyable microfiche copy. Diebold makes these fucking things and we can't get a paper reciept?!!!

10. A new concern of mine re: MSM
is that if a senator does stand up and challenge the vote, the story from the MSM will be "partisianship on the part of Democrats", NOT the fraud that stole the election for BushCo. x(

13. People tried, and they got flattened
The California Secretary of State (Kevin Shelley) refused to certify this junk and what do you know, he got brought up on campaign ethics violations which, what do you know, turned out to be baseless but ruined his career. This also happened to several county officials who blew the whistle.
