Madsen's Very Latest and a New Blog for Jamboi's Connection

10. What I don't understand is why Jamboi has become a go between for

Madsen. I've been reading Madsen for years and he's never had to use someone to post his work. So, I've found this very odd. Right now there's a perfectly reasonable article by Madsen up on Buzzflash...yet we here on DU keep getting these pieces of articles leaked to us by friends of Jamboi which do sound a little "tinfoily."

I wouldn't question except as I said I've been reading Madsen's articles for a long time..on "Common Dreams" and "From the Wilderness."

Madsen doesn't sound right in these articles. They are too breathless. I don't get a sense of what he's trying to put together so why doesn't he wait until he has the full story assembled instead of using an intermediary.

11. I understand the concern....

the thinking was to have a single point person for Madsen so that he didn't have to handle a lot of contacts from different people tying up his time. Also, he is responsive to Jamboi and even talks to him on the phone. Jamboi seems to have plenty of time to devote to this so that he can follow up and organize information to some extent. Jamboi said that next week he himself will start returning to a normal life.

I realize that Madsen does write his own articles, but in the days leading up to Jan. 6th and preceding the inauguration some of us felt it was important to push for as much information as possible, no matter how tinfoilish, so that others could see the information and possibly help to investigate. There are a number of others who are working to help investigate various aspects of corruption. ChicanoPwr is one who has just come up with some interesting info about Ohio administrators, although separate from Madsen's focus.

Also, people can provide feedback to Jamboi about areas that should be looked at more closely, and Jamboi can pass this on to Madsen. I'm sure Madsen can read his own email, but this is more direct.

Frankly I'm more interested in Madsen's access to money flow information than I am with his investigative reporting abilities.

15. solid reporter?

really? as much as I want to believe his stuff, it's just a series of reckless claims with no evidence whatsoever.

I'm not trying to discredit the guy. In fact, I'm rooting for him. But I've been waiting for a shred of evidence to materialize and back up his claims for months now.

To be fair, if his hypothesis is accurate, it would be damn near impossible to prove. If he does, I'll be the first to eat my words. I'd love that.

18. The problem Madsen has is getting anyone to start a true legal

investigation of this. He doesn't have the Cables and Fox running after this story and a legion of RW Think Tanks sending folks around whipping up an appetitie for investigation the way they do with Democrats and anyone else who get's in the RW's way.

So, Madsen and anyone else who does investigative reporting end up having to post it on the "Internets," just to get it out.

I think something is fishy with all the tombstoning myself. Jamboi was also locked out of DailyKos for a while. Going out on a limb, I think some people don't like all the extreme probing going on in relation to money.

almost everything that Madsen has been saying is slowly showing up all over the place.....and don't forget that he did "deliver" C. Curtis to Conyers.

The fact that the story looks like a J. Grisham novel is not Madsen's doing!

These people (Madsen and Jamboi) are risking everything for our democracy!!

We are trying to dig up as many leads as possible in order to push for a full investigation. Some of these leads may not make for a complete story at the moment, and Madsen may not want to risk his reputation any further by publishing it prematurely. Jamboi is far from being "creepy" about this, I got a very good feeling after speaking to him directly.

I never suggested putting all our eggs in one basket. In fact, there are former government agency employees working on other leads.
