Call the home office phones. They'll respect you more. |

I find that I get more satisfying results when calling their home office phones than their DC phones. I think they feel closer to the people who call those lines.

1. Agree, though I do both. And, definitely fax their home and DC offices. |

2. I personally would like to call |

their home home phones. I am working to defend democracy on MY PERSONAL TIME...why shouldn't they? I have trouble sleeping at night because of this...why shouldn't they?
I think I'm evolving from really disgusted to really pissed off. WHAT MORE PROOF could they possibly need? Has the world gone mad? I keep losing perspective and forget that everyone (most) don't even know anything about this. If a Senator doesn't object with Conyers, what do we do? Is there any recourse after that? I'm praying someone does. I've written all the "likely to join" Senators as well as my own and just some others for good measure. Does anyone know approximately how many people are part of this "blogosphere" or read the real media, or however you want to classify us "dissidents"? I'm just wondering if it's a couple thousand or hundreds of thousands or what.

3. I worked in one of the local state offices of a US Senator |
|
and can vouch that comments from constituents were written down and noted for the senate staff in DC and the Senator to review. These offices may be easier to get through to sometimes also.
