ATTENTION: KY CONNECTIONS WITH BUSH AND GOVCONNECT! PLEASE READ.
GovConnect, Inc. - based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a subsidiary of govONE Solutions, LP is a subsidiary and owned by First Data Corp. http://www.firstdata.com/index.jsp

Info on First Data Corp.
Pamela H. Patsley is senior executive vice president of First Data, and president of First Data International. Board of directors of Adolph Coors Company, Pegasus Solutions, Inc. and Texas Instruments. Also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization. The Young Presidents' Organization http://www.ypo.org/membership.html organization is for rich people, the site will never mentions who are their members, it up to individual members to say they are part of YPO, Peter H. Coors is a member and so are a lot of high profile neo-cons.

James D. Robinson III - member of the Business Council, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Committee for Economic Development, honorary Trustee of the Brookings Institution.

First Data Government Solutions provides leadership in developing customized solutions that modernize processes, increase efficiencies and reduce costs for government. We are one of the world's largest government payment processors serving federal, state and local government agencies. Which is where GovConnect, Inc comes in.
http://www.firstdata.com/svcs_empay_govone.jsp

GoveConnect web site is this http://www.fdgs.com/ however, on their front page it reads.

First Data Government Solutions
Four experienced leaders in the e-government marketplace have joined forces. govONE Solutions, GovConnect, Frank Solutions and Taxware have combined to offer innovative ideas, proven strategies and a strong history of helping government agencies drive outstanding efficiency and service to its citizenry.

Therefore GovConnect is really First Date. So how does GovConnect play into the KY elections. Well on May 13, 2004 GovConnect partnered with Fonix Speech Solution. GovConnect used Fonix speech program in GovConnect's Interactive Voter Registration Verification System in KY.

Here is the Press Release
http://www.fonix.com/page.cfm?name=news&id=1483
GovConnect provides technology solutions to government agencies across the United States that improve service delivery and reduce costs. GovConnect chose Fonix speech technology for the Kentucky Board of Elections IVR because of its easy implementation, intelligibility and limited hardware requirement. The application encompasses all 3,464 precincts, allowing Kentucky’s precinct officers to call the IVR system and enter their three-digit county identification number along with a voter’s identification number. The system, using Fonix speech technology, is designed to speak back the voter’s name as well as the identification number, political party, county the voter is registered in and whether or not the voter is eligible to vote in the primary election.

Summary
1. KY does not have to use a paper record at each precinct,
2. Poll workers only have to use a phone to call and check the validity of each voter.
3. No paper record makes it almost impossible to audit the voter logs.

Shades of Accenture, but this time in KY with GovConnect (First Data)?

investments, connection, in those areas. He's a friend of Bush Sr., part of Carlyle, involved in Iran-Contra with Bush Sr., involved in Barrick Gold scandal with Bush Sr., involved with bin Laden and Saudis, etc. etc. etc. Do a google on him you'll be blown away.

19. U.S. financial services in the global economy.
U.S. financial services in the global economy.
by James D. Robinson III (1990)
http://www.questia.com/PM.qst?a=o&d=5000119530&WebLogicSession=QGMjbgqakB1LARg4EFlLTiKmgag55UxYGCLZhfCOngvzIvC5mAUo|3406062912855073745/-1407384828/6/10001/10001/443/443/10001/-1

Today, I've been asked to talk to you about what's happening in financial services, both in the U.S. and abroad. It's an exciting time. There are tremendous opportunities throughout the world for financial service companies. But, it's also a difficult time. Trade and regulatory policies, particularly in the U.S., have not yet adapted to the new global realities.

Some of what I will say today may sound familiar to you. As I read through remarks of your recent speakers. I was struck by some common themes--a stress on the reality of global markets, a call for improved U.S. competitiveness. Surprise! You'll get more of that from me today.
