My lame response from Senator Chambliss (GA)
Thank you for contacting me regarding the Ohio election.
It is good to hear from you.

The Kerry campaign has recently joined the presidential candidates for the Green and Libertarian parties who are asking for a recount of the 2004 Presidential Election. The political groups felt there were many problems with the voting process in the state on Election Day. Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell, the state's chief election official, stated "This was an election where you have some glitches, but none of these glitches were of a conspiratorial nature and none of them would overturn or change the election results." I support Kenneth Blackwell and his ability to render a fair and proper decision.

Again, I appreciate hearing form you on this matter. If I may be of assistance to you in the future, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Sincerely,

Saxby Chambliss
United States Senate

to fax blast and ring his phones off the hook.

I wonder if he's seen or is aware of Conyers report. It's *very* good reading by the way. :)

7. I just emailed him the story on Blackwell's fundraising letter
where he promises to "deliver" Ohio for Bush. What an arrogant ass. The repugs hubris will get them. I'm just hoping for sooner rather than later.

10. I emailed all of my reps
to and got a lame response, but that did not stop me from giving them my opinion on a regular basis. Just because you know they will disagree is not a good reason to not send in you opinion.

Good job! Keep up the good work!

14. Isn't Chambliss the guy who screwed over Max Cleland?
With help from Karl Rove? If so he's in on the scam.

16. What did you expect?
This is the senator who participated in the test case for 2004! 2002 Georgia was the first state with blackbox voting. Rove's filty tactics--make a decorated war veteran appear like a terrorist supporter (since Cleland voted against a bill that would not have done enough (and probably was another tax giveaway for the rich--I don't remember). Shrub made numerous visits. Patches supposedly were applied to the machines in key districts (rob.georgia/Diebold machines). Afterwards, Zogby shut down to figure out what went wrong. Both the dem incumbent gov and Cleland were supposed to win handily, but they did not. Black box voting again? No paper trail.

22. Obviously, an added benefit. I can't see that happening, since
the members of congress will get cast their for president and since re repugs have the majority, chances are * will be voted in.
