6. I don't need the MSM to tell me anything |
|
I wont listen to anything they have to say. They are in complete lockstep with this administration and they have lost all credibility a long time ago, including this Chip Reed hack.
I'll sit back and watch with my own eyes tomorrow and will make my determination of our party leaders by their own actions.

9. Reed's report on challenge of Ohio electors! Boxer leaning stronglyl |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-05-05 01:30 PM by flpoljunkie
Thee could be some noise tomorrow. Explains process of challenging. Usually routine, even in 2000, but it went ahead without any major debate. We already know that 3 House members will object and claim election wqas stolen.
We are told by sources on Capital Hill that Boxer is leaning very strongly to objecting! If so, they will have to stop the vote count and have the two hours of debate in their individual chambers, though it won't change the outcome of the vote.
"Should be an interesting day tomorrow. Thanks, Chip."

claim Boxer will join in to object based on election fraud. Finally nice to hear this getting out there! Edited to add: you may not like the MSM, but there are a lot of people who have no other way to get their news, so it's a good thing!

According to their sources, if that means anything. Had to make a joke about some crying in 2000. Ha ha! He of course noted that none of this will make any difference, just a 2 hour debate. Is that anything like a 3 hr tour that got Gilligan and the captain in trouble?

15. "a two hour debate". . .? |
|
(paraphrasing) Reid said that if 1member of Congress and 1 member of the Senate contested then the certification of the votes would be suspended for a two hour debate. Nothing will change. Bush will be inaugurated.
Said this policy was enacted in 1887 (?) and that it had never been invoked since then.
All we've been working for is going to result in a lousy two hour debate?
Does anyone know about this?

who have been hearing NOTHING about what's been going on in Ohio, New Mexico, etc. Suddenly, out of the blue, it'll be front-page news (if only for its historical import).
I feel a groundswell of outrage coming.
