How this election benefits dems in our area...lemonade from lemons... |
|
our local dems groups were taken over by deaniacs, and we did most of the hard work for the kerry campaign.
The difference this year is this:
1) we were shocked and awed by all the dems coming out of the closet to support kerry in our area. 2) we have a wide core of committed activists who are not going to go away this time. after 2000 the dems fizzled out and the local organization went dark.
3) we think our local repub congressman did not benefit much vote wise from the bush thing.
now we have approached this whole process of activating dems, getting names and contacts by the thousands, etc., because this year we are going to STAY TOGETHER and work for the election 2006, get local politicians in office from dog catcher to county supervisor, etc, all the goals of democracyforamerica.com
you can do similar with or without associating with democracyforamerca.
go to it :-)

2. The Democrats have 63% of the seats in the Senate meaning.... |
|
the Rethug MINORITY can't filibuster and Jodi (Do Nothing) Rell will have to cut BIG DEALS with the Democrats.
It's so nice to know that Connecticut has Democrats with so much power!
