And therefore, no access to our health care system.

8. Percentage of healthcare costs due to medical malpractice lawsuits-2%! |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-05-05 02:39 PM by flpoljunkie
That's right, only 2%! Physicians need to better police themselves and state legislatures need to reign in insurance companies, who seek to replace their losses on Wall Street, with higher medical malpractice premiums to the "docs."
This is yet another of Dubya's false crises! Put him on ignore!

29. Remember the contract with America when they "reformed welfare?" |
|
Welfare was not a drain on the economy.
Welfare needed reforming but not by kicking poor kids out in the street or making them their own caregivers.

And his mind is so sharp, not like he has dulled it by abuse of narcotics. :silly:
(I can understand why it would take 10 years for him to get a throat culture, it would take that long to find someone to touch him!)

22. And *thats* a big plus for Halliburton. . . |
|
one of the major public f-ups Cheney committed at the helm of Halliburton was to purchase a company with massive asbestos claims pending against it.* Shortly thereafter, the courts started to rule against the company, which threatened to ruin Halliburton. Now, with Cheney in the White House, there's this big push to "reform" asbestos claims, which will serve mainly to pull Halliburton's chestnuts out of the fire while it consigns the victims to early death without compensation or support. Way to go, BushCo! Keep that blood money flowing!
*Maybe someone can fill in the details. I'm working and don't have time to look up the details.

I have refused to watch a single minute of Shrub since 11/2. I change the channel as quick as possible.
Of course, I haven't watch a single talk show, or CNN since then. Limited to Countdown.
