CBS News Editor Acknowledged my "Tainted Election" Blurb
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 01:07 PM by BayStateBoy
I sent most mainstream media my little LTE on BBV and the developing electoral stenches in FL & OH.

Got one nice reply from a senior CBS editor, who thanked me for what little data I could provide him.

I sent him more statistical info and graphs hoping to entice some interest. I don't know if they will take a look at it after being burned during RatherGate, but we must not give up. CBS has got to be extra cautious now, unfortunately for us, after that public spanking.

I will share with you how I ended my message to him, which is as follows:

"...In short, I don't believe that GWB's popular vote margin is anywhere near the figures being touted in the media; and he has about as much "mandate" as there were WMDs. L.O.L. Blue American gave Bush a chance and every benefit after 9/11 and he betrayed us. Sadly, to 1/2 of America and to most of the civilized world GW Bush is regarded as no more than a piece of walking rat crap. Sad way to begin "Troubled & Failing Presidency Phase 2."

I know that at least two public interest groups are taking legal steps including FOI filings to investigate various OH and FL precincts. While none is likely to overturn the election results, it will be a chronic and possibly growing factor in the coming years, like a foul miasma arising from the Bush Administration. Eventually that will force the mainstream media to focus on these problems which they are uniformly ignoring and/or snowing. After all, the thinking 1/2 of America is already on top of these issues but is forced to circumvent "the big 3" and cable networks!

As one of the Vietnam era college kids, I have been watching CBS for over 40 years and I can assure you and especially Mr. Rather that your star shines as brightly now as ever...have no fear..."
------------------------------------------------------------------

Folks, We have choices here. I do not suggest we sit crying in our beer. The fact remains that even if we can't get the election results changed, we can seriously damage and taint the Bush Presidency beyond its current state. FLOHIO can linger like a putrid abscess in the Bush buttocks and it will continue to fester and stink for the remainder of his public life. LET'S MAKE IT TRULY THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING...

4. An independent media would be investigation all this because
that's what an independent media does, verify things independently.
it is worth looking into fraud, even though it might not be there,
because IF IT IS THERE it needs to be made known.

that is the job of an independent media.

Someone Please Confirm These Numbers.

if they're right I don't know how any argument can be raised against an investigation into massive voter fraud in Florida using the op-scan voting machines.

http://ustogether.org/Florida_Election.htm

Just for example:

Franklin County. 77.3% of voters registered Dems. Only 15.9% registered Reps. 58.5% of the votes reported FOR BUSH???

Holmes County. 72.7% of voters registered Dems. Only 21.3% registered Reps. 77% of the votes reported FOR BUSH???

Calhoun County. 82.4% of voters registered Dems. Only 11.9% registered Reps. 63.4% of the votes reported FOR BUSH???

And on, and on...

Please, someone confirm those numbers aren't bullshit, both the percentages of registered voters in those areas and the reported returns. If that's what actually got reported there's no way around a case for fraud.

6. Send it to Bill Moyers too! He was supposed to retire after
the election, but I hope he changes his mind.
