I think you can bet on one thing. If Boxer goes forward with this, the Democrats will stand with her. And they haven't played by the rules since 1992. The Republicans have majorities in both houses, but they don't necessarily have the votes to end a filibuster.

What's that you say? The constitution makes no provision for filibustering an election? Now where have I heard that before? Could it be confirmation of judges?

"If they try it there will be serious trouble - for THEM."

Yes, the only recourse would be to declare martial law, arrest them, and charge them with conspiracy to overthrow the gov't (sedition).

it isn't fear. They're lauging they're asses off. A good number of them are all for Boxer and others contesting. They seem to think that such action will alienate voters and help them in 2006. I hope to hell they're wrong.

foul ups, inconsistencies, irregularities and cover ups are too numerous and too overwhelmingly in favor of Bush to mere happenstance.

"What does she care? She isn't up for re-election for 6 years
It won't matter for her, but Frist better get his butt back to town and be the "leader". All the dems in the Senate should be spanked for this nonsense. After the supposed debate in the senate chamber, Frist better stand up and change the filibuster rules, that's the price for this little sideshow."
------------------------------------------------------------------
They want to spank Senator Boxer and all of the other Dems.

How about this one...

MSNBC Reporting: Boxer will contest the election.
THERE IS A G-D!!!!

I want the Democrats to be braying loudly and often! "It was all a sham," I want them to yell, "The 2004 election was STOLEN!"

I want them to never stop.

Never.

And then Mainstream America will never stop bitch slapping the Democrats at the ballot box.

Never.

------------------------------------------------------------
Ugh!!!!

They think they're so cute....

Looks like Boxer is a DUmmie...
-------------------------------------

They think she hangs out here...how sweet!

Seriously though, after reading that horrid thread I have to say something. I hope Sen. Boxer has good personal security. These freaks are freakin out!

One of them read something like "He has rejected the word of God, then what wisdom does he have?"

Seriously, warped.

They did seem to get a kick out of Kerry being out of town for the hearing though. And it really doesn't look too good to have his party going to bat for him and he's awol.

20. 3rd term
I do not know if this is at all possible but I have heard rumor the W was placed by the court in 2000, therefore has only been elected once and could run again. I am sure it is just BS but it is out there and they have twisted the law more than any other bunch I know of. As for recounting the states they want , I am so for it, lets recount the whole friggin country!!!!

18. You can say you see fear, but I see excitement.
Read that thread. They're all of the opinion that this is going to hurt our party. I hope to hell that Conyers has something up his sleeve. Both he and Boxer thave always been shit slingers because neither of them have anything to lose. They're politicians for life if they chose. Other Dems are not.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed here, but from the look of the post you've linked, I don't see them "Fearing" this. I hope this does not backfire. Remember what happened when the pukes went too far in opposing President Clinton...Newt retired.

26. wow. their grasp of English is astounding
no wonder they hate education so much.

loved this one on their front page:

FReepers Against Voter Fraud!
The whole point of this exercise is to get more conservative voters involved in changing the laws to close loopholes which make it easy to cheat, to promote the enforcement of existing election laws and to take part in the election process at the local level all with the goal of intercepting future fraud campaigns. In other words our goal is to STOP THE RATS FROM HIJACKING THE ELECTION PROCESS AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!

Yes, infiltrators are keeping them hopping at DU today! Some get on and post BOXER IS YES, others get on and say BOXER IS NO!

Actually, Boxer's office keeps telling ANYBODY that bothers to call that they are just listening to their constituents and have not made up their mind.

Of course the conspiracy nuts over at DU are going nuts about this just means a YES or a NO, and even Kerry being out of the country is part of the YES conpiracy! They are truly nuts over there!

So...this is what I posted

You Freepers are so blind as to what is going on around you. Your country is being stolen right out from underneath you, and you don't see it. I hope that Senator Boxer DOES stand tomorrow. I hope that when she does, every Democrat in the Senate stands with her. What I wouldn't give to see the looks on your faces the day Georgie Boy is sent home to Crawford.

The only response I got before I was banned...

"That may be the quickest suspension on record."

I'd doubt it, I hear you about the temptation factor. Everyday during election time I'd see punk kids with the kerry badges and the rock the vote stickers (yes I'm a punk kid too, just the right kind...get it right, okay enough of that) then I'd haveta walk out of the metro and listen to liberals spout spew and urge me to vote, and i said yup bush will be getting my vote and then have them hand me kerry propaganda.
I dealt with it better then i though,
But if i ever met the person that wrote the article above..i dunno. I'd probably want to meet them and see if it's possible for someone to actually think like that, then kill them slowly."

If they didn't feel genuinely threatened by this situation, they wouldn't be paying attention...

They joke to cope...with the fear that we actually might be onto something. Shit, they care about this fraud situation as much as we do...so we know they're worried.

Well, they should be. This whole thing stinks for their party, and Blackwell is making a mockery of his position..they'd do better to oust him. He's a stain.
