? Is it worth it to call my OK senators?
PsychoCoburn and IdiotInhofe? Are senators taking calls from those outside their states?

Tell me who to call and I'll do it. I emailed Leahy (Wisconsin?) and got back an email saying he'd only respond to his Wisconsin constituents.

5. last couple weeks i have emailed my texas senators
and representitive a couple three times. yes do send to the repugs. i am in panhandle of texas, way conservative and religious. challenged them on moral values and my values as a christian to stand up for all peoples right to vote, and for that vote to be counted regardless of the party. and that i could not in all good conscious accept an election where i knew my party stole votes, intimidated and suppressed the voter.

challenge them. i did

6. I held my nose and called Liddy Dole's office and Richard Burr (Edwards
replacement) here in NC. Both of them are disgusting, but I talked to their aids who were fine. I called earlier.

I've already signed all the petitions and contacted my two DEM House Members...and wasn't going to bother with Dole and Burr, but Kerry's message spured me on to do it.

Leave a message on the answering machine... We gotta do one last push to get some "closure" on this. We did all we could for Kerry...this is the last of it..

9. Exercise your Constituent Muscle
Of course it's worth it - you're one of their constituents, and if they hear from you (and the tens of thousands of constituents like you), they'll begin to understand that there is no "mandate".

10. OK, just called both offices
:puke:

The staffer in PsychoCoburn's office asked if I was specifically referring to Ohio. I said yes, but we really need to look into ALL irregularities around the country and ensure that all of our votes count.

Inhofe's aide was polite and said she'd pass on the message.

I feel both virtuous and......somehow dirty that I had to dial their numbers :puke:

12. Congratulations!
Thanks for making the effort to call them. I live in a state with Repub senators also. They probably aren't going to do what I ask but at least they know there are people out here who want them to stand up for credible elections.

11. Yes, all of them should be called. It doesn't matter which one stands.

13. YES. It's ALWAYS worth it to let them know what you believe.
After all, they're SUPPOSED to represent ALL their constituents. Don't let 'em fergit it!
