Edited on Wed Jan-05-05 06:38 PM by Goldeneye
a thread that said McCain wasn't feeling any love. He thought he'd get more calls.

here's the thread...makes me smile...maybe there's hope for mccain? Probably not, but its worth a shot.

3. Only four, not including Hagel!
No wonder this country is in a rough patch.

4. Wait! Hagel is part of it. Must read:
Snip

Ahmanson also has major holdings in ES&S, whose former CEO is Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. When Hagel ran for office, his own company counted the votes; needless to say, his initial victory was reported as "an amazing upset." Hagel still has a million-dollar stake in the parent company of ES&S. In Florida, Jeb Bush's first choice for a running mate in his 1998 gubernatorial race was ES&S lobbyist Sandra Mortham, who made a mint installing the machines that counted Jeb's votes.

5. I know the story
There should be an absolute wall between owners of voting technology and politicians, I agree thoroughly. I also know that Hagel is an independent-minded Senator. He has spoken out against the war for two years now, when many Democrats failed to do so. I appreciate
that. I'd also bet money he voted for John Kerry and not George Bush. I didn't see him campaigning for Bush like McCain did.
I doubt any of them will stand up with Conyers, but if you're calling Republicans, you might as well give him a try.

8. Interesting.
Wouldn't have thought an ES&Ser would tweak *, but then, if Hagel holds the tech, he the man.

9. Try Elizabeth Dole.
Republican from North Carolina. I think she would be all for finding the truth.

Just my humble opinion.
