Kind Of Sad
Here we are getting all excited about the fact that Shrub will still be "Selected" tomorrow. I suppose given the current circumstances, it will definitely be a victory, and something to look forward to. Seeing multiple Senators & Reps stand up and voice their objections, will at least restore some small amount of faith in this "democracy."

But unfortunately, in the end, the feel of resignation that Shrub will still have successfully stolen the election, leaves me with that uneasy feeling we ultimately were screwed.

1. We were screwed but this is only the beginning...
Maybe I am naive but, with the thousands of us working on this now and the media that will eventually climb on board and the evidence that will continue to come out (please God) - we will eventually, one step at a time, have a shot at unraveling this nightmare and getting down to the truth. Let's make sure the world knows that they stole another election and that they are illegally occupying the White House which at the least, discredits his stupid "mandate". Then we have a base to build upon. It is not going to be easy- but look how far we've come.

Remember also that the world hates this administration as does most of the country. Remember please that we really are the majority and we are not going to let this simply be buried again. No way.

One step at a time! Tomorrow we will make history and that is a very good thing!

12. So true why do so many feel helpless?
The whole world and most Americans are on your side. The vast majority want him out.

2. At a minimum
This will give a huge momentum shift in the Rove's/MSM talking points. No longer can they say shrub won by majority because he will have to be appointed by Congress. In the 2000 election he was appointed by the Supreme Court , now this. It also opens the door for full hearings on our election system.

I've said all along that I never expected Kerry to be inaugurated over this just as long as our voting system was reworked to be fool-proof, honest and standardized we will win back every seat stolen from us in a shorter time than we lost them.

3. Definitely A Good Thing
More rewarding to me than Kerry becoming president, would be Shrub getting taken down. Embarassed. Disgraced. Humiliated. Impeached. Convicted.

With the current power structure, it seems so unlikely to believe that's possible, but if this is the start of a landslide, I will taken it every day of the week. He would be ineffective as a so-called president if he were hindered by questions regarding his legitimacy, and that would be sweet enough for me.

8. Not Selected - Sorry
We may not like the results, but Bush was not "selected". Either in 2000 or 2004. It's the process that was setup by our founding fathers. If we don't like it, then we need to change the constitution.

Bush won. Let's focus on 2008.

7. Disagree. If this is phrased correctly,
who among us are not for a democratic process, regardless of whether you're a dem or not? Everyone should be on board if the point can be formulated that the voting system isn't working.

13. I'm aware of it
Now, try telling that to American people after they witness something as historic as Ohio's electors being contested. It's a start, we build from there.

BTW, I forget the man's name but there is at least 1 repuke Rep. who said he would sign onto election hearings when the new Congress arrived.

11. Karyn and AmerDem, I am totally in agreement!
The voting system is at issue. It needs to be fixed. Whatever it takes, it needs to be fixed. This is just a start.

9. Randi said to Jesse Jackson on her show today that she
hopes that all 44 senators will stand united tomorrow and challenge the election. Not to change the outcome, but to shed light on the election fraud that has been going on. The house will then get the chance to vote Bush into office. Which means he will have been chosen by two branches of government instead of voted in by the people. It will be a huge blemish and takes away the "political capital" etc. he is trying to claim. That in it self is a victory!

15. Oh, we were screwed, definately! but maybe...
...something positive will come of it.

Real change takes time.

Hang in there, friend! As this unfolds tomorrow, we should celebrate the fact that we caused a big stink in a very short time.

Cheers!

:hi:
