the material being gathered by Conyers. You could have updated Senators and Reps on a regular basis. Instead, we see people like our "leader" Reid professing not to know much about any of this and others not concerned at all.

Do you think the Republicans would have operated in this way????? Look at Rossi is Washington State....are they letting anything go??

Let's look at this politically--you're afraid people will get mad at Democrats if they stand up for voting rights?? I just read in an article from Truthout that something like only 35% in a poll feel totally confident about their vote being counted correctly. That leaves an awful lot of people who have doubts. FL still rings in many voters' ears and it's mentioned in articles all the time. You have a base, the Repugs have their base...and then there are those that have to be peeled off for a win. I don't think this group will hold a fight about voting rights against Democrats, esp. since they'll push it to the back of their minds during the next election season. But, after an election, it's fresh...so this is the time to strike! Rather than hurt you, Democrats, standing up could HELP you! You'll keep your base and inspire it to fight even harder....but NO! it's a struggle to get even a few people to stand up.

This party can't strategize to save it's life. If this dies quickly, the base is going to be heading for the door. If Terry McCauliffe stays on for another year, it will be out the door. The guy who gave us the compressed schedule and you know the rest.

So, DNC and all the rest of the D's....act like a party, there's safety in numbers. Why aren't there going to be all the House members and 44 Senators standing up??? (we know where 45 is)....

2. Great points Gloria! I agree and I also see this as further evidence of
complicity by each party to play the populace with the divide and conquer, good cop/bad cop routine.
Time for change- one way or another!
