I have seen some of the most amazing acts of determination and just plain-out stubbornness on this board since Nov. 2nd. So many were willing to march with skinner to Ohio on Nov. 3rd that I was blown away.

I have read posts by DUers who have called all of the Dem Senators or filled out those obnoxious web forms that the Senators use. I read a post by a DUer with 4 posts - 4 - who had called Senators today.

Sure, I have done my share of work but nothing compared to many here on this board. I sit in awe of the many calls for action and the many people who acted and posted back, "Done!" I've seen so many posters asking, "What can I do? Who can I call?" that my head spins (but in a good way). I've witnessed many acts of investigation by DUers who work in just about every career choice out there except for private investigation.

And the DUers who fill their posts with "Welcome to DU!" and "Thanks for posting this!" and many, many words of encouragement.

I am amazed by this group of people and what so many of you have been willing to do to save our Democracy.

I am so glad to be a part of this family, this community, this movement. I am humbled and grateful.

As I sit here, my eyes filled with tears of happiness, fear, anxiety, and pride, I know that we have more to do but I will take each day as it comes and be grateful for what I saw yesterday and what I saw today.

I love my country and would do anything to protect it and make it better for my children. I am so grateful that so many of you feel the same way.
