If Kerry doesn't support a contest, he should consider this option. Edwards is ready and willing to take over the Presidency. If Kerry has any integrity, he will support our efforts and either take office or allow Edwards to do so.

1. It speaks well of Edwards' gallantry -- |
|
-- that he listed as his first priority the health of his wife.
Does anyone know how she is doing? 'Would appreciate an update.

It sounds as if she is in good spirits, anyway.
Much appreciated.

We're still in the process of assuring this is even contested on Thursday. Let's keep our eyes on the ball, and not talk about fantasy. Unfortunately for this country, it is apparently an uphill battle to accomplish anything right now, so thinking about an Edwards presidency is kind of ludicrous.
Sorry, but want to concentrate on the certification tomorrow. Or hopefully the lack of certification.

7. I'm a little concerned about that phone call from Kerry to the Senators |
|
After his early concession, I don't know for sure that he is on the side of the voters and isn't working to sabotage our efforts. I hope he's on our side.

How does "I am a little concerned" become " 'I heard that he keeps orphan children in a cauldron in his basement....' "?!?!? Jeez, yourself. So, where is your apology now? http://www.augustafreepress.com/stories/storyReader$30382

12. Don't be silly. We need to be prepared to fight any contingency. |

There's another thread about the Kery call and we have lots of reason to be concerned. Boxer said in 2001 that she would have contested if Gore had wanted her to. I'm hoping Kerry's more supportive of a contest this time than Gore was on 1/6/01.

I hope that doesn't negatively influence out people.
