Urgent Request from CAEF: Please CALL REID

Call ANY senator up for re-election in 2006 and tell them you won't vote for/support them if they don't stand up for our democracy.

If they had stood in 2000 maybe we would have had Al Gore as our RIGHTFUL president. Tell them you KNOW there was enough to substantiate that Kerry won at LEAST Ohio and this is the right thing to do now.

Statistics prove the early exit polls were right and it was impossible for them to shift that far outside the margin of error in Bush's favor. If exit polls are good enough to declare an election fraudulent in the Ukraine then they are good enough to do so in the U.S.

10. KICK Text of my letter faxed to Reid
Thursday, January 6, 2005

The Honorable Harry Reid
United States Senate
528 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510

VIA FAX: 202-224-7327

SUBJECT: Do NOT discourage other Senators from objecting today

Dear Senator Reid:

Do NOT discourage other Senators from objecting. I want more Senators to object than just Barbara. If one senator objects, I do not understand why you would not encourage all 45 senators to stand with her and object as a block!

If all senators had stood in 2000, maybe we would have had Al Gore as our RIGHTFUL president. I am absolutely convinced there was enough to substantiate that Kerry won at LEAST Ohio, and objections from as many senators as possible is the right thing to do now.

Statistics prove the early exit polls were right (the probability they were incorrect is one in 527 BILLION) and it was impossible for them to shift that far outside the margin of error in Bush's favor. If exit polls are good enough to declare an election fraudulent in the Ukraine then they are good enough to do so in the U.S.

You should be encouraging other senators to object; I am astonished to hear you are not doing so. It is the right thing to do for democracy, what little of it we have left for the time being.

Thank you for your service to the nation, and for providing courage and leadership at this critical time in our history.

Best Regards,
