3. I drove through Capitol Hill at 8:30 AM...
Down Independence Ave, w/ the Rayburn Bldg on my left an the Capitol on my right. I saw a guy walking slowly up the sidewalk carrying a sign reading "NEW ELECTION NOW."

5. Excellent.
I have to say that I have grown extremely cynical after working in this town for four years. It's very, very hard for me to share the hope that most DUers have when they go to DC to protest. I respect protesters so very much. It's one of the hardest things on earth to do, I think.

7. On protests
The first step is the hardest, but that first step, once taken, is one ripe with handsome rewards.

Protesting on the streets is one of the most freeing situations one can participate in. The exercising of one's free speech, amongst the voices of other's free voices, focuses the past, the present, and the future, on the now, tapping into the power which lays there like a coiled snake, ready to strike.

9. Tell them to chant -Count the Votes, Count the Votes-
Chant like those bullies did in FL that stopped the counting of the votes in 2000!
