wasn't enough....I think out of all Dems, Boxer has been quick to stand up on issues concerning fraud be it Enron or elections...I also think she regrets not standing in 00.

14. I've met many politicians in my life
I've only ever met one politican I would trust 100% on anything. OPnly one politician whom I trust to do something because ti was the right thing to do and not because there was some form of political capital to be gained.

Barack Obama is that person.

31. In a nutshell, Walt said a few days ago ...
that if Obama decided to stand with Conyers, that he would trust his judgment. Obama is the only Senator that Walt trusts 100% and he is Walt's Senator.

I have been reading your posts for the past week and you lost it!

I personally wrote to Obama and others about courage and standing up for what is right even when it is the hardest thing to do. That shows integrity something our country is sorely lacking.

43. Overjoyed but distraught as well...
It's extremely couragous for Senator Boxer to be leading this challenge, and it appears that there may be 2-3 senators objecting to the election. This is all great, but why in the heck could not even ONE senator stand up 4 years ago under more obvious fradulent conditions??? AFter all, they had a much much greater chance of changing the outcome of the election in 2000 than today, so why all the grandstanding now when it will do nothing????

47. because people are older and wiser now.
Please don't underestimate the way the democracy movement has flourished in the last four years. We who stood against Election 2000 fraud were screaming into the wind. Four years of * has created lots of grassroots change: an informed, concerned electorate is taking root in this country for the first time in decades. Don't curse it. Rejoice in it.

Everything that has a front has a back. The bigger the front, the bigger the back.

We need folks with minds like yours to help us continue the fight. We have to keep it alive until they actually changed the system and give us a constitutional right to vote and uniform system of voting in federal elections that REQUIRE paper trails.

 Thanks Walt.

54. All this stuff is meaningless unless it addresses the voting machines.
One of these days some senator is going to start quoting Freeman's statistical evidence or the other statistical evidence, which makes it a lead pipe cinch that the election was fraudulent. What more of a smoking gun do you need than exit polls that make the actualy results stink to high heaven? Why are the pols afraid to quote the facts of statistics? These are facts, plain and simple. The only issue today is the voting machines. Once every election can be and is audited fairly and impartially, democracy will return. Until then, it won't be possible to have clean and fair elections.
