Just got off the phone with his DC office. They didnt hear about Boxer standing up and were overjoyed to hear the news. Said theyre a little slow on the news.

Staff members always say, "I'll pass your message to the Senator." But this woman definitely sounded happy to hear from someone in Oregon, too. Maybe she's just pleased to know that a woman Senator stepped up first :D
