She will be smeared and the repugs will be on a mission to destroy her. We will need to pony up and support her and any other Senator with the cujones to join her. Especially when it comes to her reelection.

It was a bright spot, indeed, giving lie to the media talking points of "Republican gains" in California. This is not a conservative state--it is trending in the opposite direction. The hard right is fleeing, and that's fine with me. I see no finer state in the union.
