5. The only "yea" I've heard so far is from Boxer. It |

doesn't look promising at all, but at least it's now out there.

what did you expect - the rethugs would never let this pass
BUT WE WERE HEARD
WE STOOD UP
Okay - we still need to let our leaders know that we were watching and will continue to
we can vote them out if they don't stand up for us

|
two days ago.
Would I have wanted more, of course.
Did they take a massive step forward in opening the debate? Yes!
Did more speak for us than we thought would xpeak? YES!!!!!

"We can vote them out if they don't stand up for us." I think BBV will take care of that, "if they don't stand up for us" or not. Too bad they don't realize that.

6. Yep, lots of mealy-mouthed |
|
platitudes about how we must "take a look at" the issue of election reform coupled with statements that the chimp clearly won the election. Who the hell represents the disenfranchised, defrauded voters? Where's the outrage?

I just dont know how to feel about this, on one hand Im happy that something was done, but another part of me says that this was done just to placate the masses of Dems who are upset or disenfranchised, keeping them happy and in the camp till the next election.
Im glad this is getting out, but with the MSM and the GOP controlling the entire government, I just dont think that anything of substence will come of this and we will be back here again in another 2 and 4 years, respectively.

I will never undertand the people that thought this will end with Kerry in the White House.
Having said that, today was impressive. The Dems properly framed this debate and definitely took a step in the right direction. Of course, it's meaningless if we are operating under the exact same system in 2006.

17. Waiting for the future fraud to stick 2 / 3 nds in each house next round |
|
Modus operandi
I say they will have another set up with black bags, some kind of big or bigger scare shake-up similar to 9/11 in the next 10 to 18 months to make it possible for the fraud

As far as I'm concerned...standing up to these thugs is step #1! Baby steps will get us there! Everything in this country is not all or nothing! Not all Black and White...there IS GRAY, as well. Watch out...that's the way THEY think!

No average citizen watching this would be persuaded in the least....I am not discounting the passion and hard work by the Black Caucus or Boxer's courage, but what was needed were blown up pictures of the brothers running ES&S and Diebolt, or those charts showing the difference of exit polls and 'adjusted' polls, or any verbal presentation approaching the energy and clarity that Randi Rhondes demonstrates regarding the fraud that took place. Democracy and Civil Rights were mortally wounded today.
