Is the RNC serious with this press release?
To: National Desk, Political Reporter

Contact: Brian Jones of Republican National Committee, 202-863-8614; Web: http://www.gop.com

WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Republican National Committee Released the following today:

"Democrats are wondering why they are losing electoral ground among African-Americans, Hispanics, women and urban voters. The answer is pretty simple. As the President and the Republican-led Congress work to lower health care costs by reducing the number of medical malpractice suits, begin a dialogue on how to preserve Social Security for future generations and formulate plans to simplify the tax code, liberal Democrats are focused on sour grapes politics and an election they lost more than two months ago." -- RNC Spokesman Brian Jones

Sometimes I think they just release shit like this in a joking way to piss Dems in Congress. Or they're just gloating at the public's ignorance.....

Med malpractice suits: I not sure how this initiative is bad for the general public, but I'm sure it is

Social Security: less benefits for people/shitload for Wall Street

Tax Code: God knows how many cuts/loopholes it will have for corps

1. Hayworth said "sour grapes..."
This is their TW meme for today. Syn. of "sore loser." Faux is using that one.

2. The pukes work the press.
The press reports this garbage and then in the minds of most of the public, it must be true, 'cause they read it in the paper or saw it on the teevee. And don't you love the 'liberal democrats' tag. Ohhh, they used the L word!

We can't see it, but he helps the poor and minorities unlike any president before. Just trust him.

That's my translation.

5. The problem is this:
We have no decent strong voice to go up against these thugs.
Where's the DNC? Where's their press release stating that we are eager to get moving on the agenda of ensuring solvency for the SS TF?

Or>>> how running a deficit actually depletes the SSTF???

I am a dedicated liberal, but this dem party I have claimed allegiance to seem to be a bunch of non- confrontational assholes. GET IN THEIR FACE!!!!

From a Blue guy in a blue county in a red state.

6. Med Malpractice suits

The only large money group supporting the Democratic party is the trial lawyers' association. By limiting medical malpractice (and pushing tort reform), shrub and thugs accomplish three things: 1) pay back corporate donors (insurance companies are among the biggest Repub contributors, along with pharmaceuticals), 2) reduce the finances of the Democratic Party (money=ads=persuasion/brainwashing=power) and 3) enforces the rule of the few, or, wins another battle in the class war - the rich get richer and get away with "mistakes" and the poor have no recourse. (The middle class - what middle class?)

7. Med Malpractice
Not sure how this is bad?

Imagine your spouse or child goes to the doctor. The doctor is completely negligent - let's say he's drunk. Your spouse or child comes home to you missing limbs or, worse, is dead. Then let's imagine you sue the doctor because you want your little girl to be compensated for the loss of her legs. And he only has to pay $250K (when he earns $1.2M/yr) because little King George has deemed it is more important for a rich doctor to have the freedom to act recklessly while caring for your family than it is for you to be compensated for the negligence of another.

It's one more example of Bush screwing over the people to help the wealthy and priveleged.

8. reThugs, enough with the unsolicited advice, ok?
It was old the twentieth time I heard "What the Democrats need to do" from RW-goon pundits.

You don't like what we're doing? Call us assholes. Call us Commies. I don't give a shit. But don't tell us how it's hurting us.
